Hi, everyone! Hope that all of you are doing well today; thought I'd check in with you on the August Rotation. Today for me was MIC warmup and hi-lo and PUB, which felt much better this time (the last time was my first attempt--the stability ball pikes got me gooooood!).
Will be doubling up workouts on Tuesday so I don't have to get up toooo early the next day; it's nice to be awake for prime-time television...or even the 6:00 p.m. news.
Take care and have a wonderful weekend! Would love to hear how the rest of you are doing!
Poor Callie...still here by yourself! I was going to reply last night, then I got caught up in doing something else
I didn't do anything yesterday.I had full intentions of going for a run but before I knew it,it was 5 in the evening and time to get dinner ready.CTX kickboxing was on the agenda yesterday so I am just going to skip it altogether.I am not a kickboxing fan:-( I am not sure if I will just go for a run today OR if I will do PLB as well.
Other then that,I think my day will be pretty laid back.My daugther is gone to my moms house,DH is still in bed,and there is really nothing I need to do today.
Lori
Me again.I went for a 10 km run.It was pretty hot out.But I do love the tan I get when running outside in the sun. I may do PLB later, not now though
Lori
No I didn't do PLB (yet). It is 9:35 right now, but I had a 90 min nap this afternoon.I never think I am tired b/c of my workouts.I always think I am lazy b/c of work or not enough sleep but I would think that this rotation may be a little tiring. I am just puttering around, washing things, folding clothes...etc.... I think I may save the workout for tomorrow.
I will check back then,
Lori
How'd it go? Lori: Sounds like you had a long day; thanks for checking in there--I was hanging out by myself for quite awhile! Lynne, you might have had a long day, too, with HSTA & KPC! What a cardio blast!
We'll see if I'll double up; it's possible that I could do morning, then head out shopping for the day, ending with a night-time workout. The only problem is that I haven't been sleeping all that well, so a nightly workout might "Energizer Bunny" me. At least I could get more prep done for school that way... ;-)
Well, on to PLB and the walking lunges; wish me luck!
I statred week 3 yesterday. 20" run and L&G were scheduled. I started out with the run: 5" walk then 15" run ant light pace I felt good so I kept going until 30" minutes total. Running is a new challenge for me, and my muscles are not conditioned for it. Going longer I thought was a major accomplishment. Then I switched to Timesaver#5 workout because it is shorter and has abs in it. That was more than enough for one day.
I can't imagine doubling up any of these workouts; just adding running or walking lunges is a challenge for me LOL.
I hope everyone is getting enough rest and stretching and water onboard.
