Hi Marcia! Sorry it took me so long to get back to ya!!! I had a meeting with a friend this morning and just got home.
**1. Do most people take them in the morning?**
This is what I personally do, after I eat breakfast, I take 1 Vita-Lea, 1 C, 1 B. At dinner I take the E, 1 B, and 1 Vita-Lea and my iron. So I am only taking 3 at breakfast and 4 a dinner time. Yes, it is an adjustment to taking so many. I wondered why they had to split them up like that, and their answer was so our body can break down the vitamin. The "ONE-A-Day" pills that have everything in them are so compacted that they don't even break down in our systems and we are not getting the benefits from the vitamin. Shaklee splits them up so they WILL breakdown and our body can absorb them. I would reccomend splitting them up. You don't have to, but I think your body will absorb the vitamins better if they don't all come at once.
***2. I have a cold and I'm hoping they will help me recover quickly, anybody comment on that before??***
The nutrients will definately help your body recover, but it really depends on how 'strong' the strain of cold (virus) is. What I notice is that I RARELY get sick anymore. My DH just had a cold, and I didn't get it, where in the past, it was a given that if he was sick, I was going to be sick too. So, it may not help with this cold, but it will help strengthen your body for the next round!
***3. When I took them this morning they kind of made me a little queezy, but I ate something quick and am fine now. Is that normal?
I have never experienced that, but I have never taken them on an empty stomach. I would say eat something first, then take them. And I also think you should split them up, so you are not taking the whole strip at one time.
I hope that answers your questions. I know you will feel different in a couple of days. Please keep us posted!!!
The other benefit that I noticed after being on these is after about 3 months, my periods got less intense. They used to last 7-8 days before, and I would have pretty bad cramps for the first 3 days or so, and now they last about 4 days with little to no cramping. I just got my period yesterday and was totally shocked. I usually knew when it was going to come (breast tenderness, moodiness, etc.) and now I have no signs that it is coming (which is wonderful!). I wasn't keeping track as to when my last one was, and had no idea that it was coming! Oh well, at least I had something with me. You will be VERY surprised as to the positive changes you will notice. Our bodies are remarkable things, and when given the right nutrients, things just seem to come into balance again!
Let me know if you have any more questions!!!
