Road Trip - hotel question

Oh no! My computer punked out on me and in it was my hotel information and confirmation number :( Can someone remind me of the name of the hotel was posted first at a rate of $67 per night? I am going to call them today and get that confirmation number back, print directions, etc.!

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!! I just called and they CANCELLED my reservation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The girl just kept saying that they cancelled my reservation "through central reservation" and that I have no room!

She checked over at the Radisson to see if maybe they had it for some reason, it was switched, etc. They didn't.

Then she gave me another confirm number and said that she would talk to her manager and see that I got one for both nights, etc. I was like "wait a second, you guys are booked that day" and she said that there are other rooms available not blocked out for the trip and shewill get me one of those.

Does that sound right? Should I call back later and make sure?

Sounds scary to me! You may want to e-mail Kathy Shapiro ([email protected])& let her know your experience - just in case it has happened to more of us, though I hope our confirmation numbers will protect us! & yes, I would call the hotel back - sorry about your computer, next to our gym stuff, that is probably our most important item:(

Hi everybody!

Christine and I "talked" this morning and we've spoken to the Ramada -- her reservation is fine and we believe all of yours are, too. I'm so glad Christine brought this to our attention, but I don't want youse guys/y'all to panic. ;-) We've having the hotels send us confirmation lists, and we'll do the homework to make sure you're all taken care of. When we get our facts nailed down we'll send out one of our famous group e-mails. :)

Yes, all is well! I meant to jump on the internet and post this so I didn't worry everyone else about their reservations. I think by what the lady said that my issue was definitely a freak thing!
