Our new Ripped With HiiT videos are now available to all OnDemand Customers on our new streaming OnDemand network which uses our newest Cathe Player. The new Cathe Player for the first time allows viewers on their computer to easily select and go to any chapter in the video they're watching.
We will go into more details on Monday, but here are some highlights about our new streaming service and Cathe Player:
If you click on the players HD button you can now select from three different streaming connection speeds. The default connection speed for the player is "medium" which is equal to about the same connection speed as all of the other videos on our network that you've already been using. If you have problems because of a lousy internet connection you can now select the"Low Connection" speed option which will help many of you that have problems with stalls and buffering when streaming. If you have a fast connection speed you can also select our "High" quality option which will give you an amazing picture on your Big Screen TV no matter how big the screen.
2. In the upper left corner of the Cathe Player you will see a chapter icon that when clicked will pop up a window with all of the chapters for the video. Click on any chapter you like and you will instantly go to that spot in the video much quicker than you can even on a DVD.
3. In the timeline you will see little dots that when you hover over them will display the name of the exercise at that point in the timeline. Click the dot and you will instantly go to that exercise.
4. Click on the CC button and you will now see the name of every chapter as it is displayed in the video. Now you will always know where you're and the name of the exercise.
5. Next and previous arrows are located at the bottom of the player. Click on these arrows just like you would on your DVD remote to go to the next or previous chapter.
6. Lastly, click on the double arrows icon to go to full screen view. Some options may not work in this view depending on your browser and or device.
* We find the new Cathe Player works best in Chrome and Safari. In IE 11 you will need to toggle between full and normal view to use many of the above features. Regardless, you will need an up to date browser for these options to work on your computer.
Since mobile devices use their own default player many of the above features will not work or work well on them. We will release our own mobile app that will solve this issue early next year.
