I just tried Jari Love's Ripped and Chiseled for the first time and I liked it. I have only two major criticisms:
1. I've only done it once and already I'm bored with the repetitiousness. The first two sets are great, but I just don't have the patience to do that third set. I had the same problem with Jari's Slim & Lean, which I finally stopped doing because it was just too repetitive.
2. Why is core work always an afterthought to Jari? This workout has NO ab section except for a repeat of the ab workout from Slim & Lean, which is presented as some sort of bonus section which is not part of the workout.
Jari is a good instructor and, quite frankly, I think she puts herself on sale by allowing her workouts to sell for $8 or less. Maybe if she sold them for what they are worth, she would have enough money to film a real abs section, or be able to add premixes so you can more easily avoid those endless repetitions. At the very least, upper and lower body premixes would be very helpful. Okay, I guess that's technically a third major criticism. The workout really needs some premixes.
Otherwise, it's a good, tough workout, and to me, definitely worth the (pitiful) price. I particularly like that some of the back and tricep work is done supine, because that is the most comfortable position for my lower back when I'm lifting weights. In fact, for back work it's pretty much my only option these days because back work involves such heavy weights. The exercises are simple and straighforward and get the job done. I like that style of workout.
