Last night DH and I were lying in bed and for some reason we started counting each others heart beat. He said " I wonder is my heart beat as steady and as strong as yours?" So he counted my heart beats for a min and he said it was pretty slow. He only counted 46 beats for that min. When I had to count his I knew right away that I was going to count atleast one beat per min, it ended up being more then that though. I ended up counting 74.
Of course I am more active then him and have much less stress then him. Now he is all freaked out. He just called me (im at work) and I guess he did a bit of web browsing and found a website regarding resting HR. I told him not to worry about it b/c the website I found didn't even have 46 beats per min listed!
LOL It said to count your heart rate for 3days straight before getting out of bed.
On a brighter note, I think he is ready to start getting serious. He is a little freaked out b/c obviously the faster your HR is the harder your heart is working. Soooo...we are going to go for a 30 mins run tonight together. I also told him, just b/c your underweight doesn't mean that you are healthy and that you can eat whatever you want, right?
Any thoughts on this?
