reebok step or original???

Does anyone know the difference between these two?

If so, then I was thinking about upgrading to the orginal step that Cathe uses from the reebok step I have now.

I was wondering if the original had a softer impact or if it was basically the samething...

Thanks

I upgraded from Reebok to the Club step. The Reebok surface is definitely a harder plastic, the Club step has more traction & is softer. Also the bottoms of the Reebok risers didn't have any rubber "grips" for lack of a better word, & the step would slide sometimes w/high impact moves (especially if I'm sweating so much there's a puddle on the floor). The Club step has little rubber pads that prevent this.

I got the Club step pretty cheap on ebay (I think a total of $80 including shipping). I definitely did not regret it.

Get the original step that Cathe uses. I have the Reebok step and it's not as wide as Cathe's step. Those extra few inches make a difference when doing some of the choreography. I don't know about the impact but I'm planning on getting the original step myself.

Carrie-
Ditto on what everyone else said. I had the Reebox step initially and then got the original step and like it much better...definitely worth buying, IMO.

:) :) :)

Also, if I remember right (from using the Reebok step for the first time last month at a gym), the Reebok step starts at 6" and the first riser bumps it up to 8". The Original Step has the 4" platform and you go up from there.
Like I said, I used the Reebok step for the first time at a gym last month and really had a hard time with the harder plastic, sharper edges, and less traction on top. I'd go with the Original!
