....is Chocolate Mocha Chewies
1 package plain devil's food cake mix
1/3 c. brewed coffee, at room temp.
4 Tbl. butter, melted
1 large egg
1 c. chocolate chips (add more, why not?!)
Chopped nuts (optional....as many as you'd like)
1)Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease cookie sheets with solid vegetable shortening, or spray with "Pam."
2)Put all ingredients except choc. chips and nuts in a large mixing bowl, and mix till well blended. Dough will be thick. Fold in the chips and nuts until well distributed.
3) Drop heaping teaspoons of dough 2 inches apart on the prepared cookie sheets. Bake for about 12 minutes. After you've taken them out of the oven, leave on cookie sheets for about 1 minute before you remove them with a metal spatula.

This is a great cookbook....I need another one like another hole in my head, but I bought it anyway.
Deb H will give us her opinion late today or tomorrow.
