Range hoods...

Please excuse the unrelated topic here. I was wondering if you all have found that range hoods reduce the amount of cleaning required in the kitchen. You know the dusting required. Or, are they more for clearing out the smoke and heat from cooking?

I would say they're main purpose is to pull the smoke, moisture, and heat from cooking out of your kitchen.

Oh, BTW, I find my range hood collects alot of dust. Pain in the tuckus, but does do well with smoke, heat absorbing.
