Hi Catheland,
I just wanted to share with you my experience last weekend. I ran in the Northwest Passage Relay with 11 other women, here is a photo:

I'm in the front, 2nd from the right.

It is a 189 mile relay from Blaine, WA to Langley, WA. What an experience!! I grew up in this state, but have never seen it like I did over those 2 days=it was so amazing. I felt so inexperienced going in, but my aunt and a cousin were also on the team and I couldn't pass up this chance. I mostly run by myself and haven't done more than a 5k race before. I ran 3 legs over 24 hours (less actually) and was completely surprised I finished! I ran 5.7, 3.1, and then 7.1 (uphill!), and think that they were all 10 minute miles or just under.

Anyway, I just had to share that with you! During my training for this thing I slacked off on Cathe a bit and I miss it!

Take care,
Brandi

hmm...thanks for the heads up on that. I guess I better try to put it on picture trail. and thanks:)

Brandi...great picture!! That sounds like quite an experience for you. That last 7.1 leg must have been tough. Congrats on doing it!! My sister does one of those here on the west Coast called Hood to Coast http://www.hoodtocoast.com/ It goes about 197 miles. She might do it this year but so far I have never volunteered or been asked to run it...:)..too chicken!...Thanks for sharing...
