I found Rachel Ray recipe for Italian Mac-n-Cheese on the Food Network website that looks really good. It calls for a can of diced tomatoes but it doesn't say what size can to use. Does anyone out there have her cookbook with this recipe, and if so, would you please post which size can to use? Thank you so much:)
 
Don't have that particular recipe, but usually in my experience, any recipe that calls for a can of diced tomatoes means a 15 ounce can--unless its a sauce recipe.
 
I have the recipe, I was eyeing it last night, it's in more than one of her cookbooks and it doesn't mention what size can. She has mentioned in her books before using Muir Glen organic fire roasted diced tomatoes and that is what I use in most of the recipes of hers that call for diced tomatoes. It's a 14.5 oz. can and that's always worked perfectly. I only use more if the recipe specifies.

Thanks tneah and Ashley. I'll grab two 14.5oz cans just to be on the safe side as it looked like it might be a little dry. We have family coming to stay for a week in April and this looked like a good dish to make while they're here. I was planning to lighten it up a bit by using 1% milk and chicken sausage. Thanks again for taking the time to look it up in your cookbooks. :)
