Questions about downloads, CDs, etc.

Hi all - I need some technology advice! I'm a little behind the times...

All this talk about Coach Sean has finally made me decide to order some of his workouts. I know a lot of you get downloads... how do those work?

I'm stuck with dial-up internet, so I'm afraid that something that large would really mess up my connection and take forever to download to my computer. Is that right?

And if I do end up getting a download, how do you use them? Do you have to copy them to a CD first?

And that leads to my final question... Can you play an audio CD on a DVD player? As I said, I'm a little behind the times and don't have a CD player!

Thanks in advance!

Cuz, check your email:)

ETA that you can get all of his workouts, except the Press Play, on CD. I don't know about playing CD's in a DVD player, though.

I seem to recall that he has a special where you can buy the MP3 download and get the CD, too. You should email his him at [email protected]. They'll be happy to answer any questions -- his customer service is superb!

I can play CDs on my DVD player with no problem. This is what I did before I downloaded to my MP3player. I really enjoy them more with the music/words in my ear, though. But it still works with no problems on the DVD player.

The downloading is pretty easy. You just hit the link that he sends you with the workout and then save it. I save to my desktop (so I can find it easily!) and then I plug in my MP3player to the computer and right click on my desktop item that I want to download and then it just works!

This is probably no how everyone does it, but it works for me in just minutes (I don't have dial-up, though).

These are really fun workouts and will be worth your effort in investigating how to get them!

Good luck!

Since I have a treadmill and elliptical at home, I downloaded them to my computer then made CD's to use (I don't like having earphones in my ears if I don't need to). I also downloaded them to my MP3 player so I have them when I am out of town. This seems to work for me.

Thanks, ladies. I emailed Sean, and he said that downloads would be a very bad idea since I'm on dial up. I guess that means I'll order the CDs!
