Question regarding Rotations

Are there any benefits to following a rotation based on one series, i.e. XTrain for 30 days or RWH for 30 days then moving onto a new rotation based on a different series for the next 30 days, over following a mixed rotation, i.e. the February 2016 Cathe rotation, every month? Is the muscle shock/confusion more effective with one vs. the other?
