question for those with waterbeds

I have a queen size waterbed and I'm having a tough time finding sheets for it. Can I use deep pocket sheets that are meant for a reg bed? Should I choose queen or king? TIA Phyllis

I used to have one. They has sheets specifically for them. I remember them being a plain sheet. Not a fitted.

We have a queen size waterbed. I use king size regular sheets, not the special waterbed sheets. They tend to rip where they're sewn together.

I have a king size. I have always just used flat king size sheets, so I have to buy them in individually. I've never been able to buy a sheet set that came with a fitted, flat & cases. The fitted just did't fit. Tried waterbed sheets, but didn't like them.

We have a California King Waterbed and they fit better in my opinion.

I am sorry pwmatt my answer was unclear. Regular sheets fit much better. Might I also mention I will wait until season end and I check the clearence section you can get king size sets sometimes for $20.00-$25.00. I think sheets are ridiculously priced.

edited to say that My California King is bigger than a standard king but a regular King sheet works. So if you have a queen you may try buying a queen set (keep your receipts) give it a try maybe you could get away with a regular full set. Just a thought.

Thanks everyone. I bought Q size reg. sheets and they fit perfectly. The pkg said they would fit mattresses up to 14" deep,
