Hello everyone! I have been working out for several years now, but all of a sudden I have put on about 7 pounds in 3 months. Sure this doesn't seem a lot, but my diet hasn't changed. I have increased my weights, but I don't think the 3 pounds (out of the 7) I have gained in the last week would account for muscle gain. I know I have been staying hydrated, but am I overly hydrating or is this fat I am gaining? I can see some difference in my thighs, but I don't know if it is more fat or muscle being built with the fat on top
My exercise regiment hasn't changed too much either. I do change it up, of course, but I stick with 3-4 cardio sessions a week (1 step, 1 Bosu, 1 hi/lo, 1 eliptical) and the Gym Style Series right now (each body part, plus 1 day w/ Muscle Max).
I really don't want to add all of this weight, as my pants are getting a little snug, yet if it is muscle gain I might be more okay with it. I know that muscle weighs more than fat, but how much of muscle can one gain in a week?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
