Question about the Check-Ins and Challenges

Hi, lovely ladies (and gentlemen)! :)

I have a quick question about the check-ins. I would like to start one or join one, but I'm not sure how they work and / or what the proper etiquette on this forum is for them. Anyone wanna clue me in? Or anyone wanna join me?

I just moved into a new apartment ( <3 ), although I have no space for proper Cathe workouts ( :( ). Lucky for me, though, I'm a university student who has free access to her school's two gyms! Now that I'm back on campus, I really want to make an even bigger commitment to getting back on track with my exercise and eating right, and so I'd love to join a group or start one of my own, but I don't know how to do that here.

Speaking of being a university student, if any of you moms out there have sent kids off from your nest, you might know how confusing it is for us to feed ourselves. :p Anyone have some easy and healthy recipes (I will be checking the area of the forum dedicated to food momentarily, but I thought asking couldn't hurt, while I'm here) that keep well for a few days at a time? I'm a very inexperienced cook with limited kitchen cookware. :p So far, my ideas are chili, spaghetti & marinara, soup, steamed veggies and veggie stir fry, and, uhm, PBJ and cereal! :D

Hi Forever - I joined the forums about two years ago. I simply looked at the different check in titles and picked one that appealed to me. Then I posted asking the ladies if I could join them. I think you could do the same thing. Pick a couple and read their posts. You will see people at all workout levels. I love the forum. I've learned so much about workout DVD's and nutrition. My fitness level improved after I join the forum. the check in's keep me accountable and the ladies on my forum are very supportive.

I'm part of the Daily Check In. You are always welcome to join us if you dont find one.

Good luck.

Carmen.
