Its not a continuous reading of your heart rate right because you have to periodically get your heart rate during the workout when you aren't wearing the strap? Are these accurate in calculating calories burned? How often should I get my heart rate? I'm curious because this morning I burned apparently 600+ calories during Bootcamp 4DS and I thought that seemed really high for a one hour workout...half of which is weight training.
Maybe I should manually put in my low and high target rates since its using the calculation of 220-33? I want to get as accurate as possible with the calories I'm burning.
Any experts on this?
