Question About Protein Truth

Hi Cahte,
I have searched high and low and have not found any internet articles that address a huge question I have.
Anyways, I was told a while back that protein powder starts losing it's power as soon as it hits liquid.
I was wondering how true this may be?
I like to mix protein shakes but since I heard this I've been drinking them immediatly, however I used to try the premixed shakes and now am wondeirng if they even had any protein left in them
Can you please tell me the truth about the liquid protein drinks and powder etc?
thanks so much!

Hi Cathe,
Its me again, I apologize I just realized that I spelled your name wrong. I write too fast for this laptop tp keep up lol.
Anyways, I forgot to ask another question about protein. A lot of the muscle magazines and bodybuilders say to have at LEAST 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight.
I am looking to build muscle, and weight in at about 110-115 lbs. Do I really need that much protein? I wa sthinking that the 80 grams Ive been managing was great, it's really hard to get that much protein when you're only 115lbs.
Anyway what Im really asking is that Ive heard that for my height and weight, anymore than about 30 grams at one time goes to waste or turns to fat or something.
Im wondering the validity of this. Does the amount of protein your body can utilize at one time have a limit? And what is that limit for different body weights and heights? DOes it differ from genders?
This question and my first are things that you don't really hear a lot on and I think they're very important questions for those that are body building or training hard.
I would appreciate any info you might have.
Thanks in advance!
