Question about nutrition

Hi gang I have spent some time here tonight trying to find some nutrition information but other than the ETL post I couldn't find anything. Could you guys guide me as to where I can get some information. I am familiar with the Bodybuilding site but for some reason I feel more comfortable here with other "Cathe followers"......

Hi Amy, thanks for responding. I had to laugh when I read your reply because I confuse myself all the time. What I am actually looking for is like meal ideas with......oh geez I am confusing myself again.

I would love to find out what others have for meals. Like if I could be a fly on the wall at Cathe's house I would love it. See what I mean? I have often asked myself what does someone like that eat?? So find me a way of sneaking into her house so that I can find out.............hehehehehehe:7

I think what happens is that I tend to mistrust what I am doing and I would like to find out what others do to compare with what I do.......yikes I bet that confused you again.

Okay just send me your ideas and maybe I can go from there.

Nuts (Mixed Nuts, Almonds, Peanuts)
Chicken
Ground Round Beef (Laura’s Lean)
Salmon
Turkey Bacon (Jenny-O’s Extra Lean)
Deli Turkey Meat
Plain Yogurt-Lowfat
Egg Beaters (or egg whites…I personally don’t like egg whites)
Lowfat Cheese (Provolone, Mozzarella, String Cheese or hot pepper)
Lowfat Cottage Cheese
Skim Milk
Feta Cheese (Reduced Fat)
Spray Butter
Protein Powder (I prefer Carb Solution Protein Shake Mix)
Zone Bars
 
Lynn, a while back Cathe actually posted a typical days' food for her. It was in reply to a question on the Ask Cathe forum, and I don't remember what the subject line was, but you might want to do an advanced search in the Ask Cathe forum for questions about food/menu/nutrition/eating/typical day....

Oh you guys are wonderful!!! I thank you so much!!!

I went to the grocery store today and re stocked on my fresh fruits, veggies, salmon, turkey breast, chicken tenderloins, low fat salad dressing and low carb. wheat wraps.

I went to that link and feel so much better. I have actually been eating along the same lines so I will stop losing trust in myself. I figure that if I am eating along the same lines as Cathe then I am doing it right. I also love the fact that she allows herself a few treats here and there which I do too about once a month.

So again I thank you and I wish you all continued health and let's all learn to love those Leg Presses!! Oh can't tell you how many times I yell at the television because she wants a few more and I can't breathe worth a darn!!!
