Question about dvd's i just ordered...

Hey ladies.

I just ordered the 8 dvd bundle from Cathe that includes the complete Crosstrain Express Series plus the Cardio Kicks/Circuit Max dvd. I ordered them because I am very interested in doing these post- pregnancy BUT I'd love to give them a try (low impact) NOW!

Anyone who has these....how hard do you think it will be for me to modify these work outs to suit my needs right now? I preview everything before I buy it but it can be hard to tell from those little segments what I am TRULY in for!:)

Hi Wendy. CTX is an EXCELLENT selection for pregnancy/post-pregnancy. The exercises are easily modifiable (is that a word?!?) and can be done at 30 min increments if need be. Depending on your current exercise level, you may be able to continue with your workout regimen...and just make modifications as needed...making certain you do not become anaerobic during cardio work & taking it easy on abdominal workouts.
You may choose to join pregnant mom's check-in. Here ladies discuss/post their workouts for the past week.

Thanks for the congrats! Me and DH are sooo excited! I'm half way thru my 20th week and I have a sonogram tomorrow. Can't wait to see the little person we've created!:D

You have made me a very happy lady in regards to CTX! Now I am REALLY looking forward to my order coming in!!! Thanks for the reply!:)

I posted on the "check-in" thread for the first time about the work outs I did last week. I'll try to remember to do it every week from now on!:)

Hi Wendy!

I think the CTX series will be great post-pregnancy too. I tried the All-Step workout, minus the step 2 days ago, and found the moves easy to modify, but the pace of the music was a bit too fast. I won't be able to do it in the last trimester, I don't think. But hey, everyone's different! I still plan to use the strength sections though- I love the upper strength.
