Quad work with resistance bands: suggestions?

Hi! I need to work on my quads to help stabilize my knees a bit more and am wondering if anyone has suggestions for exercises with resistance bands. I'm trying to stay away from squats right now, so anything seated would be great.

Can you tie the band around the leg of a chair, loop your foot through the other end, then raise your leg straight from a seated position? Basically, a seated version of the standing quad work from Legs and Glutes (if you have that work out).

That's the only one I can think of right now, but I'll keep cogitating on it.
