Hi Stacy! I was in the thread re: all the different diets & noticed your doing the Leanness Lifestyle diet. I just purchased the book & was curious as to how long you've been following it & how do you find it? Do you like it? Any input you can give me would be much appreciated. Have a great weekend! Kathy
Hi, this is the 3rd week following the program and so far have lost 4 lbs, but my weight creeped up a bit this week due to the dreaded TTOTM, but I'm not panicking yet. I'm loving it! The book was well written and to be honest, there's nothing magical about this program, however, it's simplicity is what makes it so great! I also got a great deal out of the "reasons why we pig out" etc. portions of the book. Eating for me is such a mental thing!! I'm not yet following the program to a "tee" yet, ie. havent really changed my workouts...still doing all cathe which I dont think is necessarily going against the book at all, and I still have to work on my nutrient ratios, the book follows a 40-40-20 plan. Overall, I love it! A few of us are doing the LL and have a checkin at the Ya Ya's titled "The LAST 10-15" started at first b/c a few of us have those dreaded last 10-15lbs that seem hardest to lose and it just so happens that 3 of us are doing LL. Would love to see you at the checkin!
