Pyramid Legs or Slow and Heavy or the New Gym Style Legs?

For a heavy leg workout which one do you prefer? I haven't tried out the new Gym Style so I don't even know if that qualifies as a heavy leg workout. Whomever has done these let me know your opinion on what was the best in your mind? Thanks.

IMO Gym Sytle legs is more endurance than strength. But I use both S&H and PLB standing legs in my current rotation for strength. Might be a bit easier to do S&H heavy because of the count. But I go heavy on both S&H and PLB standing legs. The floorwork in both PLB and Gym Styles is good but Gym Style might be a bit tougher...:)...Carole

I like Pyramid Lower body with the 3 sets UP premix. I find it reasonable with good exercise selection. I don't have GS yet. But I just finished S&H tonight tweaking it a bit because it had similarities with the M&F Hers rotation I'm trying...and it was tough.
The only thing I changed was 5 sets of squats instead of 3. 3 sets instead of 2 for the lunges. Inserted 3 sets of Split squats and added the Deadlifts for 3 sets all done for 10 reps. Took out the side lunges and plies. Maintained the 2 down and 6 counts up pace. I was sweating a lot.

Thought I'd chime in here...

I just did Gym Style legs tonite and I must say I think PLB is the best out of all of Cathe's leg workouts. In my opinion, S&H legs does not work the legs enough, Leaner legs is good but more endurance related as is Legs & glutes. The floor work in Gym style is a killer, but I had to go quite heavy 55 lbs. for squats,(2) 15 lbs. for lunges, (2) 12 pounds for slow lunges (Cathe uses 5lbs), and 15# for plie squats. Maybe if she included one more set of each, it would be just right. But I will say the floor work is right on; good and tough.

I think this workout is good for the days you don't want to kill yourself, but in my opion, Pyramid Lower body is her best leg work to date.;-)

Thanks guys for your comments. Now I have a better idea of what's what. I guess I can add Gym Style to the endurance category, not that there is anything wrong with endurance. It's just that sometimes it's nice to add in that heavier leg work. Although heavy leg work can be hard the good thing is that is just doesn't take as long, in most cases.
