Pure Barre is a barre/ballet type workout with isometric exercises. It's 43 minutes long and the instructor is Carrie Rezabek. This does have an arm section but the real meat of the workout is for the legs. The arm section uses weights but there is no weight for the legs (you don't need any!) There is a standing barre where you do plies and pulses in first and second position; leg lifts (if you've done Squeeze, she does the Pretzel standing), knee squeezes and tucks. There is pilates-type ab work and stretches. I wish the stretches were a little longer though. The workout moves very quickly and Carrie always reminds you about your form. This is a killer workout that you are guaranteed to feel the next day. My legs were quivering while doing this workout and I've taken ballet for many years.
