PUB

I just ordered PUB/PLB dvd. I normally use 5, 8, and 10lb weights. This weight still challenges me so I haven't increased it yet. Do you still think that I can get a good workout using this weight selection or do I need to try to increase it? I have been working out with weights for almost two years now but my upper body is just really not very strong, I can't lift as much as some people can. Are there just some people who are just not made to have alot of upper body strength? If so, I may be one of them. If anyone could help me out with these questions, I would appreciate it.

Hi there! :)

That's what I am still using for PUB: 5, 8 and 10lb. weights and I sure can feel it the next day.
You might wanna get some 3lb. weights for the shoulder section though and do 3lb, 5lb and maybe 8lb, but that might be very intense. I use 5 lb twice, but thinking about getting me some 6 lb weights for the shoulder section.

I hope that helps and be prepared for the pain x(

Have a great day
Kristine :)

I suggest getting some heavier weights for chest and back, which are large, and therefore stronger, muscle groups than arms and shoulders. Try to at least go to 12# on chest/back (so your pyramid would be 8, 10, 12).

I think that you need to do the workout first to determine what weights will be right for you. I use 5, 8, 10 dumbbells, but when I do the premix I do more super setting, just using 8 and 10 lbs. You are the best judge of what will work for you. I am finding that 12 pounders would be good to add to my weight selection for this one for some of the segments.

i use different weights for the different exercises... 5,8,10 or 8,10,15 or 10,15,20.. just depends on which part i'm working!
