Protein bar recipes?

Anyone willing to post their protein bar recipes? I'm not loving the high prices and/or preservatives of the store-bought variety and would prefer to make my own... if I knew how.
 
From NROLW:

(For 5 bars)
4 servings protein powder
2/3 cup ground flaxseed
1/3 cup water
4 TBS smooth peanut butter
1 pkg Splenda or stevia (optional)

Mix all ingredients in a bowl, divide into 5 balls and wrap in plastic wrap. Store in the refrigerator until ready to eat.

12 gms carbs (2 fiber)
14 gms fat (1 sat)

Tried these the other day but switched almond butter for the PB and didn't add the sweetner. My protein powder was 2 scoops instead of one so needed to add a little extra water. I used chocolate EAS powder from Costco. They weren't bad - the smell kinda reminded me of play dough for some reason (?) but I actually shaped them into logs and the just cut into small bite sized pieces and took to work for my mid AM snack. Tasted a bit like a tootsie roll without all the sugar. Was nice and chewy.

I guess you could use ground up oatmeat or steel cut oats instead of flax and/or roll in some chopped nuts or dried fruit for a variety.
