Props to Leslie Sansone

I never thought I'd like what she does, but I got the new 4 Fast Miles DVD which include a 1 Mile Jog, and I'm very pleasantly pleased. It's no-brainer, quite intense enough, and fun. I like that she's making more intense options. Makes it nice when it's too hot to go outside to walk. You can mix it up - I did the 1 mile jog DVD and followed that with miles 2, 3, & 4 of the 4 Fast Miles. It was $16.00 on Ebay.

I'm pleasantly surprised at how Leslie's advanced workouts get my HR right up there, with little to no impact and so much better feeling afterwards in my arthritic knees! Its very comparable to an elliptical workout in intensity. I also like the no brainer choreography. I don't like to have to think too hard about how to move my feet when I'm sweating.

I like No Brainer sometimes (especially at 5AM)!!!!

I used Leslie Sansone walking DVD's to ease my way back into cardio. I had stopped exercising for about 2 years and her workouts were a Godsend. She helped me prepare for the likes of Cathe. Although I haven't used them in a long time, I've hung on to her DVD's just in case...you never know when you might need a light cardio day.;)

The new ones are going onto the shelf with my more intense step/bootcamp, etc. workouts. This new DVD has a "music only" option so you don't have to listen to the talking. I really don't mind her "chatter" and don't find it annoying. I like her.

I picked this one up at Walmart yesterday. I've used Leslie workouts before on the rebounder, jogging and sprinting instead of walking, and doing jacks instead of step-touches (and her "Walk and Jog" and "Walk and Kick" for floor aerobics, with some modifications to increase intensity). I think it will be nice to have for those "I want to workout, but I don't want the impact" days (though the recycled music---stuff Cathe used several years ago---could get a bit old after a while, especially since it's repeated throughout the workout).
