PROGRESS NOT PERFECTION: JULY "FIREWALKS"

FnV, that totally kicks a** that you stuck to your guns!! I'm going to be practicing "deprivation" this weekend, I'll be at my parents' house visiting aka Junkfoodville!

No workout Monday, got home from work late and was still feeling some leg DOMS from yardwork on Saturday (pathetic!). Today I did the Cardio Blast premix from Low Impact Circuit. Tomorrow will be upper body and abs, probably PUB. Because I'll be out of town this weekend I dont want to do a split routine this week.

I picked up the Amen Solution from the library today as well as Tracy Anderson's 30 Day Method, more out of curiosity on the latter.

Have you heard of Dana Peiper?? She has 2 workouts in the "coming soon" section at collagevideo. They look really good especially the kickboxing one, good enough that I may have to get them!! They're already available on another site and so far the kickboxing one has gotten rave reviews at videofitness.

Keep plugging away, you're an inspiration!

I did CCC express pm and PUB pyramid up only pm yesterday. Next workout will prob be a LIS or Cross/Max but not sure if w/o today or tomorrow. Wed are busy.

Btw, after about 7 days of steady hydration, I looked noticeably less haggard, more youthful, and Amen says its good for the brain.
I haven't heard of Dana P and generally not fond of martial arts, but I do like Kickboxing if not too much punching. Let me know how you like it. There is a Jillian Michaels series I think I want and I'd like to try KCM and of course the upcoming Cathe, but I've had vet bills, doctor bills and school bills so I need to just say no. I wonder if I will ever use STS.
 
I did High Reps upper body premix. I always forget that Cathe omits the back segment from this premix, dont really understand why, but I always tack it on. I love the ab segment from HR, I'm sure my abs will be talking to me tomorrow!

I'm planning on the Leg Cardio Express premix from Athletic Training for tomorrow morning.

Dinner tonight....grilled chicken and a salad.

Hope to browse thru Amen's book a bit tonight. I'm all for looking less haggard!!
 
I didnt do my planned workout this morning. I didnt sleep well last night and frankly didnt even feel like working out at all, but I did muster walking 2 miles on the treadmill at a slight incline.

My muscles are feeling pretty tight, especially my hamstrings. I think my next workout will be a long yoga routine before I head out of town. My brother has put together a home gym out in his garage and he's really into CrossFit, so he wants me to workout with him one morning this weekend when I'm out of town. I'm looking forward to his torture, and it'll keep me from eating all the junk food around my parents' house!
 
Stacy, awesome about your bro and his gym, have fun! I'll prob do a walk and bootcamp workout at rec center later. I didn't workout yesterday. I need to restock on plants today, at least my tea is green this morning. : )
 
We need august thread.boot camp canceled, I did run walk for about an hour. Tried to track on atabata buGt legs wouldnt have it.
