Printer friendly copy

Sorry if this has been asked, but I did a search and couldn't find my answer. I want to print part of a thread. When I go to the thread tools and click on printer it gives me the whole thread. I only want to print one reply on the thread. Does anyone know how to do this?

I usually go to File on my browser's tool bar and click print preview. I locate the page # that the thread I want printed is on and print only that page.

I think this will work: in the upper right hand corner of each post is a number. Click on it and it will open a new window with just that post in it. Then you can print that window.

Another idea, and this will work for any web page or file: highlight the text you want to print, then select print from the "file" menu (don't use the print button on the toolbar.) When the printer window comes up, choose "Selection" under Print range. This will print just the text you have selected.

Thanks! I didn't think of doing either of those. I ended up highlighting what I wanted to print and copying it to my word file then printing it.
