Hello Ladies! Any of you expecting mama's experiencing insomnia? I am at the end of my rope. I have tried multiple medications and quite frankly being exhausted is more tolerable than the side effects. Ugh! I would love to commiserate if you have had this same issue.

EDD: March 18, 2004
Second pregnancy:

No insomnia here but I can feel your pain because although I fall asleep quickly, I am up constantly during the night tossing and turning...often times I am waking up every hour! Last night was the first night in some time where I slept pretty solid, only waking up 2x.

The sleepless night of motherhood are beginning already!:p
Must be God's way of giving us "practice" for once our little bundles of joy arrive and we REALLY get no sleep! lol

Have a great work out!

Oh yes, I had pregancy insomnia with my first child and it was terrible. I couldn't understand it since I'd never had sleep problems. It was all so new. Then the baby came along and needed to feed at night. Mow my 20 month old still does not sleep through the night and has me up. Plus I wake up to me on my own. And on top off all of that, I have becom so preoccupied with getting enough sleep that I stress out and often have trouble falling asleep even when I feel tired. I too have tried medications and found it best to just deal with the regular tiredness. I wish I could be encouraging, but from my experiences I can't. I can only imagine how things will be for me once my second baby gets here. Somehow though we manage, and it will all eventually pass.
