Hi Ladies. Hope you all had a great week last week and a fun & safe 4th of July. I sure hope we hear from Christy soon!

My week was pretty good. I only got in 4 workouts, but I painted my older sons soon to be new room which is 450 square feet with 9' high ceiling. I had to do 2 coats, so I don't feel too bad that I don't have that extra day of cardio in my week as that was pretty challenging on it's own.

Sunday: Off (Painted first coat)
Monday: Kick Punch & Crunch up till drills at end
Tuesday: All Step (painted 2nd coat)
Wednesday: Off
Thursday: Step & Intervals
Friday: Off
Saturday: Leaner Legs

Look forward to hearing from each of you.

Take care!

Hello my fellow mommies to be! I hope each of you had a wonderful holiday!

Stacey, of course, you can count painting. You are doing great with your workouts. I see you like LL too... it is one of my favs for lower body.

I was able to do a bit more this week, I hope to get some weights in this week but it will depend on how I feel.

Sunday: OFF
Monday: Basic Step
Tuesday: Prenatal Yoga
Wednesday: Cardio Kicks
Thursday: Prenatal Yoga
Friday: Walking
Saturday: OFF

Christy, I hope you are doing well.

My doctor stripped my membranes today and the contractions are starting. I did this last week too, so I am not getting my hopes up. Oh, I am 3 cm and 80% effaced.

Anyway, I am off to exercise! Take care!

Hi Autumn. Glad things are going so well for you! I'm sure you know this, but speaking from experience, I just wanted to say to be careful with the timing of your contractions, and if they are coming 5 minutes apart, be sure to head to the hospital. When my dr stripped my membranes with my 2nd, I was having very regular contractions, but they were in no way painful (the ones with my son were much much more intense) so I was afraid to go to the hospital. Well, I barely made it! My sister was even worse off than me. She barely had time to get her clothes off when she arrived at the hospital. It was just amazing to me how much labor could differ between pregnancies and how much faster the second time around was.

Good luck and I can't wait to read your birth story. I can't wait till it's my turn, either. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Yay!

Stacey & Autumn, you both are doing so well with your workouts! (Stacey-painting is definitely work!) I wish I could still move around like I used to but it won't be until after baby is born that that happens again. I had an appt with my sports therapist on Friday and she says I'm doing everything right in terms of trying to heal my feet and dealing with the sciatic nerves. I'm still doing the light weights off my feet. Here's what I did last week:

Sun-legs (ankle weights)
Mon-biceps, triceps & shoulders using hand weights
Tues-chest (push-ups, tubing), back (weights, tubing)
Weds-legs (ankle weights)
Thurs-biceps, triceps, shoulders a.m.; pre-natal yoga (no standing postures)
Fri- chest, back
Sat-off

I do abs on all fours if I feel up to it now. My feet are feeling better. Except on Sunday, adding injury to injury, I banged my left ankle against a table edge and on Monday I could barely walk on it. But it's better now after ice/heat application. I can't believe how clutsy I've gotten during this pregnancy!

Anyway, hope you all have a good week! And Autumn, keep us posted!

Hi Stacey & Diana! I am still pregnant. Stacey, thanks for the advice. I was thinking of heading to the hospital when the contractions are 10 minutes... and painful. I may have to forget the painful. I didn't have any real pain with Sydney until my membranes ruptured. I am still having irregular contractions and cramping. I can only hope for a quick delivery as you described Stacey! I just want to spend the least amount of time necessary in the hospital.

Diana, you are doing awesome with your workout modifications!!! I can identify with being clutsy... and forgetful. My new nickname is Dory... the fish with short-term memory loss on Finding Nemo. I have been watching Nemo A LOT the last week... I actually enjoy it.

Yes, there is light at the end of the tunnel for us ladies!
