This is my 1st full week of workouts in 5 weeks, so I am excited to post. I did modify a lot of my workouts but I am starting to feel a little bit tired. I hope I will be able to keep it up for the whole 9/10 months!! By the way has anyone else started swelling around the ankles?

I don't think I posted last week but my workout weeks are going okay.

After staying fit as a fiddle for 7 months i was knocked out by a cold two weeks ago. So took things down a notch

this past week

Mon - swim 1/2 mile
Tues - Yoga class
Wed - aerobics hi/lo class
Thus - walked 2.5 miles
Friday - swim 1/2 mile
Saturday - :)ff
Sunday - :) ff

I am extremely tired today and actually had to leave churck early because I felt so sick. 2 weeks ago I had to go into the emergency room because I had over exerted myself to much cleaning the house and organizing closets ( to much lifting and running around to stores) and had terrible cramping that they thought were contractions.

Now today I have felt terrible because I have been way to busy running around doing way to much stuff since Wednesday.

So my goal for the upcoming week is to scale back on my daily activiites. And learn to sit and not need to be running around doing something every moment.

Tuvak, you were smart to slow down.
Mary, no swelling of the ankles for me but like I said last wek tons of vericose veins.

I am feeling well except for some back pain. I am up 19 pounds as of last week. Last week's workouts were lacking as I recovered from the stomache bug then went Wed. to my parents house in NY.

Workouts:
Sunday-stomache bug(is puking exercise?)
Mon-get ripped plus biceps, back, abductors, glutes , chest and triceps from pump fit.
Tues-2 jammin workouts-cardio strike
wed-cardio and weights plus stage 1 of stepheaven
Thurs-Tae bo adv. live vol. 1+hardcore kickbox circuit cardio
Fri-slim in 6- burn in up + about 30 minues of tae bo ultimare bootcamp
Sat-zumba adv.

Last week was a low energy week for me - I just felt sluggish. I managed to work out most days, but modified a lot. I'm starting to get a few aches and pains from the pregnancy, namely sore calves and feet when I run, and a little bit of low back pain...no swelling yet, though.

I tried Kickmax again this week after you guys talked about it last week...and I've decided it's just not my thing. After years of kickbox classes and Tae Kwon Do, I think I'm just burned out of kickbox altogether.

My week:
Sun: Short walk
Mon: 30 min walk/jog, Kathy Smith Project:You Circuit
Tues: Amazing Step Styles (stopped 3/4 way through when I got tired)
Wed: 30 min walk/jog, Fitprime Flexposture (1/2)
Thurs: Kickmax...:(
Fri: 30 min walk/jog
Sat: Jane Fonda lower body workout

Also - I ordered Basic Step and Body Fusion and it should arrive tomorrow!! I also picked up the Timesaver DVD - figured it may be useful after the baby arrives.

tuvak - hope you are feeling better now. it is hard to learn to slow down i think. i too am starting to feel really tired and cannot do as much. glad your body gave you a warning.

sounds as though everyone else is doing well. any tips to get rid of the swelling? i am not having too much, but i imagine it will be starting soon.
sun - 60 min eliptical
mon - kpc, legs and glutes
tues - low max, 25 min strength
weds - imax 2, musc endur
thurs - spin class, 25 min strength
fri - low max
sat - imax 2, legs and glutes

my belly is really strating too grow instead of just fill out. it is nice to llook prgnant, not just pudgy. i am still concerned about gaining too much weight, but my eating has really evened out and i am still gaining, so i guess it is what i need. my sil was visiting this weekend. she delivered at 29 weeks - baby was fine - only gained 7lbs total! that is definately not me.

shopaholic - what did you do for the varicose veins? so they hurt?

I am actually feeling so much better I have slowly been increasing the length of my workouts. I know this won't last too much longer though.

I have been eating everything in the house though! My appetite is huge. I have gained 10 lbs until this point. This was when I gained all my weight last time. I need to find a way to slow my eating down. Sometimes I have even been eating when I am not really hungry.

Tuesday - 1 hour LowMax
Wednesday - 1 Hour MuscleMax
Friday - 1 Hour LowMax
Saturday - 1 Hour Hard Core Extreme (modified)

I'm sorry everyone's feeling sluggish or so:-( I can definitly relate!

I worked out all week but I can't remember what I did on what day:7 Pregnancyhead!!:D :D
I did LoMax a couple times, walked 4.5 miles one day. Did Step Heat one day....

No swelling around the ankles, but since I live in AZ and due in July, they may:eek: They didn't with Hannah.
I too gained most my weight in the very last month, hopefully that won't happen again:eek:   AND I worked out til the day I delivered, but I ate lots of milkshakes and chocolate. Been trying to stay away from those this time around.
Although twix bars have been my weakness and potatoe chips with french onion dip!:9

Do the vericose veins hurt!?!?!? I'm so sorry for that!

Mommy to Hannah Lilly born 3/25/05

I didn't have vericose veins with #1. They don't hurt just make my legs look old! I am hoping my weight gain slows. The majority of my weight gain with #1 was the second trimester.
