Hi everyone,

I've kind of been lurking for a few weeks and would like to join you guys! I'm 11 weeks along with our first baby. I've had morning sickness and fatigue and it's been really hard getting a workout in which has been a bit depressing. I also had a cold I just got over, so I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things!

Here's what I did last week. It's not much, but it's better than the previous week!

sun - low max (step only premix)/ab work
mon - threw up in the morning, slept most of the day
tues - felt sorry for myself
wed - WHFN Pump
thurs - Cathe Timesaver #3
fri - see mon & tues!
sat - Firm Better Body & Buns

Morris, I'm glad your dh is coming home. Is he in the military?

Hope everyone has a great week!

Karen

wed:nesting again
thurs:walk 20 min
fri:got a cold

Hello ladies
It has been a while - I have been working out - but just not posting.

I am now 7 months and chugging along.

Looks like everyone is having great workout - I have had to seriously take it down a notch and modify and that has bugged me - so maybe that is why I haven't posted as much about what I'm doing. I have finally come to peace with this is the way things are.

Last week -
Sun - Walk 2 miles
Mon - Walk 2 miles
Tues - Walk 2 miles
Wed - rest day
Thursday - Walk 2.5 miles
Friday - Rest day
Sat. - step class

I was on vacation in forida last week so this week isn't really representative of what I normally do.
I have moved down to to step/hi lo classes a week - They are pretty hi impact and I'm still able to keep up for the most part but just can't handle more then two days a week anymore
So this week I'm going to add swimming back inot my worout mix. I haven't swam since the summer so it should be interesting.

Mary - I hope you appointment with the Dr. goes well and your able to work out again soon.

Morning beautiful pregos!

Mary good luck to you!!!
Morris, you are a rock start! You must feel soooooo good. I used to spin everyday, haven't in a very long time.
Karen, I'm so sorry for you! I hope it gets better.

Sun. I honestly don't remember:7
Mon. Lo Max
Tues. Lo Max
Wed. A very much needed day off.
Thurs. Lo Max
Fri. Lo Max (do you see a pattern here)
Sat. 3 mile walk

What's the wedding workout like???

Walkers, walking is sooooooo good for you, don't let it get you down. It actually gives you a great butt and legs if you do it enough;-)
Everyone have a great week.:+

My running workouts are starting to suffer - from the weather! It's been really cold here for the past few days and I refuse to run when it's less than 20 degrees out...(believe it or not, in Kansas City that really doesn't happen that often).

My workouts this week:
Sun: Stretch Max (1 section), Charlene P Crosstrainer (step only)
Mon: Firm BSS4 Cardio Sculpt
Tues: 30 minute jog, PowerMax (first 2 sections and cooldown)
Wed: 30 minue jog, TLT BBBB, Shape Toning Upper Body
Thurs: Unscheduled rest day
Fri: Tamilee Webb Cardio Blast, IMAX
Sat: Firm Vol. 6, Firm BSS1 Lower Body Scuplting Add-on

CurlyQ - I like Cathe's wedding tape - it has 1 hour of step, 1 hour of total body weights. It also has clips of Cathe's wedding in between sections, and Cathe makes some (kinda cheesy) comments about looking great on your wedding day. The choreography is pretty basic and neither the step nor the weight work is nearly as hard as her current stuff (though I haven't tried her beginner workouts).

Here is my week. I tried running again on Saturday and I don't think I will be doing that again any time soon. It was just too uncomfortable and I got a bad cramp down low on my right side. I have access to an indoor track now and I think I will just do fast walking for my Saturday workout. This is when my daughter attends her Spanish class and I have over an hour to kill. The track is located at the place she takes her class at.

Monday - 30 minutes Imax3/no blasts
Wednesday - 40 minutes LowMax
Friday - 1 hour MuscleMax
Saturday - Run/Walk 40 minutes

I have been having lower back pain now. Mostly when I wake up in the morning. Exercise seems to help. Any suggestions?

Rachel, I too have some backpain. I am trying to bend from my legs instead of my back.
Mary, I am hoping you get the go ahead to resume your workouts.
Karen, welcome! Morning sickness is tough!
Tuvak, always post even if you are not thrilled with your workouts. Great job exercising on vacation.
Curly, you may want to purchase low impact step to give yourself a break from lowmax. As described the wedding tape has 2 parts. It is cheesy but delivers a good workout. Moves as mentioned are slightly easier than her other tapes but I do feel even non preggo that it gets my heartrate up.
Linda, great workouts!

my back pain went away 3 days after i stopped running. walking helps very much, but the running for some reason casued a lot of back pain. i miss it, but not the pain! i can do step or kickboxing all day long, but the running finally took its toll. also, do you stretch? i find even if i only do it at night, i do feel better.
