hurray! It's the weekend!
MIght as well combine Sat & Sun since we're so quiet here on the weekends.

This AM we take Mufasa to a fundraiser/dog show. We go every year - kinda cool to have the biggest dog there!:D then I meet Michigan Catheites for lunch!!!! I can't wait! Hoping to do some shopping too. I shouldn't be on my feet for too long tho - last night I was contracting like crazy, Mike was **freaking** out. (We're packing our bags for the brith center tonight!) NOt sure if I'll do an official WO today - there will be a lot of walking at the dog show. It's outside and its a beautiful day here today - looking forward to it!

hi everyone
kate - have fun at the dog show, i LOVE dogs so i would enjoy something like that too :)
i have to bring my two dogs to get vaccinated at petco. they are having cheaper ones being done there. since i have two dogs its still going to cost me an arm and a leg at a time when i am hurting most...sigh...the things you do out of love!

i made myself get up 9 today, i was up very late. i made a big pot of homemade chicken soup since ive been feeling blech lately and then i made some chocolate pumpkin halloween cupcakes for my husband to enjoy, and me too if i feel better

off to get in some kind of workout now, nothing too tough since i'm feeling blech. is that a word? it is now!!

Kate -have fun at the dog show ;) I'm jealous of people with dogs cause my Dh doesn't want any pets. I'm lucky I have my cat. :(

Jen- I hope you feel better! when I had a cold a week ago I just bought some canned chicken soup. It wasn't too bad. I've never been good at making chicken soup though. my mom would make it with homemade noodles. mmm.

Well sorry I've been MIA. I haven't had a lot of time to spend online and when I come here the check in is so long I can't catch up. ha.
My appt is Monday. I'm hoping my DH will be back by then. I don't hear from him much cause they are out in the boonies somewhere where the phones have a bad connection. I'm waiting to hear hes on his way home. I'm trying to get the house clean. thankfully I've been feeling better.

Hi ladies. :) I went to a couple garage sales this AM. It was difficult to see baby things for me. I've been doing pretty good---I got some more "baby" mail & my period bums me out. I'll be okay though.

I finished up my Cardio Coach collection yesterday. 3 w/o's for $20---you just can't beat that. They are alot of fun & motivational.

That's about it. My house is trashed so I best go clean it...

good morning everyone!

Kate we are officially full term today:) Don't you usually go early? I have always gone until 41 weeks so I am not getting my hopes up that I will deliver b/f my due date. Have fun today!

JenM, I hope you feel better. Your cupcakes sound really good.

Calvillo, will you be getting an ultrasound at your appt. or are they just going to listen for the heartbeat?

Last night we went to the fair and did not get home until 11pm and didn't get to bed until midnight, but I still woke up at 6am:( I already want to take a nap. I probably won't get a workout in today.

Candra

JenM, booooo to big bucks for vaccines! yay to halloween cupcakes!!! I want one! or 2 or 3.........

Calvillo, You have a full plate for sure with your DH gone so much. I hope he makes it back for Monday.

Melanie, Any luck at the garage sales? Sorry about the baby blues...

Candra, Yes, I've been a week and half early both times so I'm hoping for the same this time!!! I can't imagine going a week over!!!! I love fairs - we didnt make it this year. Just htink that walkmax last night was your WO for today!:p

-------
Dog show was fun, but they didn't do the police dog demonstration beacuse Hilary Clinton is in town! That's our favorite part of the show!!! I'm off to my Catheite lunch!

Have a great day!

Hi Girls,
I'm still here. Today, my right breast started leaking a little...!!! Other than that, everything is still the same. My mom is here to help out a little before the baby is born. We are off to run some errands in a minute.

Kate-Have fun at the dog show. Were your contractions timeable? Were they painful? I don't know what "true" contractions feel like since I had back labor for a short time with DS#1, and I got an epidural shortly after. I am expecting something big and painful, but my friend said they don't start out that way?

Have a great weekend, ladies!
-Jen

Hi everyone. I did Netflix's Kimberly Spreen's Kickbox Boot Camp. I didn't really care for it (too much weight work, not enough cardio). I did stretch a little though, and my bones sure need that.

Jen, for me labor began as a dull diarrhea-like cramping. It gradually came on---until full blown (you know-without-a-doubt-that-you're-in-labor) contractions. I worked full 8 hour shift while in labor with my last two babes, I was never able to wait until scheduled C/S (lucky me labor pains AND c/s healing). Are you feeling any contractions?

So many ladies are due NOW. Let's see, Jen,Kate,& Stephanie, right? Anyone else?

My period is much lighter this cycle. This is day #3 and I have no cramping, regular flow. :) Now, if I could just do something to increase DH's libido. I'm going to try a slight medication change this week and see if it prompts anything. Anyone know where I could get Estacy? ;) ;) Just kidding, folks!!!!!! (maybe I could make it in my lab). Ha Ha

Melaine, your ecstacy comment cracked me up!!! Is your dh on medication that effects his libido?? I know a few dh's that are on meds for hypertention and have that problem. My dh on the other hand is a horn dog to say the least!!!
HI to everyone!!! Just chekcin on ya'll. Signs say I am ovulating so we'll see!!

Jen, I must say I'm not looking forward to uncontrollable milk production! My boobs go CRAZY the first few MONTHS! I buy BOXES and BOXES of nursing pads. My ctx weren't timeable - sometimes it's just a few seconds, other times they last a couple minutes. A couple of them were uncomfortable but I wouldn't say painful. I think they start out different for everyone, and different with each pregnancy.

Melanie, Sorry the WO wsan't very good. I love a great stretch too. Have you ever done Classical Stretch? I am pretty much addicted to it. It blows any and all other stretching totally out of the water. Candra and Trish are due in Oct. too. yay for no cramps, boo to DH's libido.

Susan, Go take advantage of that horn-dog husband!

---
My Cathe lunch was nice. One of the gals it would be really nice to get together with again.

I just finished a Kathy Smith pg WO.

Hope veryone has a good evening!

hi ladies!
kate, glad you had a nice lunch today
melanie, i will shut my law enforcement eyes and ears on the ecstacy comment! LOL Just kidding ;) I hope you find something that works
susan , good luck this month!
i wish my husband was more of a horn dog. lol. i always feel so unattractive. but then again, we rarely see each other so its kind of hard to get any action around here!

I was bad today..i spent about $200 on my dogs getting the vaccinations updated since they really really needed it. but i still didnt get a fecal test since they didnt do that there. and i have to take my mini dog back next month due to her weight - they didnt want to give her all the shots at once becuase it'd be too strong :( so..back again in late october!

then i had to fill up my honda civic and it cost $40

the later on when dh went to work i went to goodwill to check out what was supposed to be ag reat baby section. LIES and a waste of time didnt see one baby thing there. Then i drove all the way out to Carters outlet, which i was told was cheaper than BRUS, LIES AGAIN! lol. it was overpriced

Then i went to target but didnt get anything, but i was really bad at babies r us. i got two carter girl outfits, buy one get one 50% off. Then i found all this great stuff on clearance. I thought i found a jackpot, but i spent about $40 :( :( A lot more than i had intended to. I feel like noone is coming to my shower or getting me things (yes, greedy, i know but i need help!!) becuase my registry hasnt budget and i think the things purchased are all from my mom (love her!). Maybe i'll be suprised and they will get me things that are on there and not use the registry or get similar items. at least i have a couple outfits now.

so, i had fun, i wanted to get out of the house even tho i'm not feeling the greatest. but i should have left the credit card at home!!

tomorrow is a new day, i wont be going anywhere...i'll just pass out next month when i get the vet bills, the hopsital bill for my last visit, and these spending bills :( sigh....

sorry to whine, that was a long one

i just had two bowls of my chicken soup. i've been eating it for two days straight. i feel like im going to turn into chicken soup! its tasty. i think i ate a bowl too many tho, i feel so full all of a sudden!

i hope everyone is having a great weekend..wow, there are a lot of girls due next month. yay!
anyone else due in feb like me?

Jen, do you do garage sales? Now that I work at KMart, I've been buying the boys lots of clothes from their. I get 20 percent off on clothes---so many items are 5 dollars each. I like to have them wear matching clothes---I'm dorky that way.

My DH is bipolar, and takes mood stabilizers. They drastically cut into his libido, but stabilize his mood----so it's a catch 22. Do I want a crabby horny man, or a unhorny happy man? ;) I"m tweaking his meds just slightly. ;)

Church this AM, then family time. I have just 3 more loads of laundry--then put them away, and balance checkbook/pay bills. I'm glad I got alot done yesterday. :)

What's on your agendas?

Good morning ladies!

Kate ~ Happy you had a good time at the dog show and a nice lunch.

JenM~ I am trying to reset my clock too. I am such a night owl. Ihad a massage Friday, which is usually like a sleeping pill. Nope, not the case. I was awake until 3:30am.

calvillo ~ I know how hard it is when DH's travel. I sure realize how much mine helps when he is away.

Hi Jen, Susan, & Candra. Hope I didn't miss anyone.

I am determined to get in some activity today. Even if it is a walk outside in the beautiful weather. I am awfully tired though.

TTYL and let you know my results. :)

Jen, Sorry about the $$ woes. You'll be surprised at your shower - there will be lots of great gifts, even if they're not from your registry.

Melanie,, Hope you have a nice family day.

Calvillo, Glad DH is home safely!

Autumn, Hope your day goes well!

Church this AM, then we had lunch with Mike's family. R&R the rest of the day!

Happy Sunday Everyone :)
Whew...where does the weekend go?? I wish the work week would go by this quickly!
I woke up feeling icky again, so i did a new Bosu workout. Burn and Explode, almost two hours. It wasnt strenuous. I dont find the Bosu to be all that heart pumping anyway. So it was a good pick given how i feel today

i've had a busy morning of tending to the dogs, laundry, making my DH his football snacks before he leaves for work, made tomorrow nite's chili and did some other miscellaneous things. Its been raining here all day, good day to be indoors!

tomorrow..its back to work...ick....

TWO hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am impressed regardless of intensity YOU worked out for TWO hours. And you are pregnant.

I still haven't worked out. I didn't get to bed until after 4 and then was up at 8. Oh well. BTW, for those of you who took a break due to pregnancy s/s, did you ease back into workouts or try to pick up where you left off?

Has anyone ever left a forum? I've been visiting another forum for over 3 years and have a few cyber friends and a couple I will meet IRL one of these days since they live an hour from me. Anyway, it could be the pregnancy hormones, but I just couldn't take some of the attitudes. I would leave the forums not feeling good about my faith (religious forum) because I am not as "devout". No one told me that...... wait yes in so many words I have been told that but I like a good debate
3.gif
....... it was more my reading posts and thinking I wouldn't do that, say that, think that, etc. I don't like to accuse Christians of not being Christian..... I believe it is beyond my authority...... but I don't think Christ would turn any one of us away from His table so why would I (figuratively speaking of course)? So, I left the forum at least for now. I left a message for my friends, because I didn't want to disappear into thin air. I feel a little sad since I've been visiting there almost every day for over 3 years and guess I just need to vent. Sorry for bringing up religion if it offends anyone.

Guess I should help with the Halloween decorations? How are everyones kids dressing up for Halloween? DD wants to be a Bumble Bee and DS "bad spiderman".

Autumn, sending you cyber hugs. I've "known" you for a long time--I totally respect your decision. The only forum I've left is "this one" when I've been totally TTC blue----IOW, TTC fatigued. I love your special spiderman smiley thingie.

Where is the new BOSU dvd??!?! I have a BOSU I rarely use b/c there aren't many good BOSU videos...

I've paid my bills (yikes!) and almost have all my laundry put away. I have one more Bible Study section to do b 4 Tues AM, I might try to do it today b/c I work all day tomorrow. I'm a little nervous about starting a new Bible class in a different town with people I've never met before. It's a ladies study, so I"m excited about meeting Christian women for support.... The study is about becoming a woman of moderation. :)

Today is interval day. Hmmmmmmmm Hardcore Extreme Section 2, parts 3 & 4 most likely. Tomorrow I hope to wake up early (super challenge Mon AM) to do a brand new cardio challenge....... Wish me luck!!

Oh..the Bosu workout i did was new for me, its been out for a while. I got it in a trade a few eeks ago and decided to try it. It happened to have two workouts on it, so i decided to give it a whirl. I did both becuase it was new and just wanted to see if it was a keeper. Thats the only reason i did two hours

im still working out at the same regularity and intensity i have post pregnancy. In fact, most days i do not feel pregnant. i was not sick once and not too overly tired so i'm thankful this pregnancy has been easy on my body and how i feel. i really HOPE it stays that way. THe hardest part to accept is the number on the scale and the fact that pants are starting to get a wee bit uncomfy

i'll be 20 weeks wed, and i still havent felt the baby move :( It always makes me wonder if everything is how its supposed to be...

Oh, back to the Bosu, it was called Burn/Explode with Mindy Mylrea and Keli Roberts. Melanie, any Bosu DVD with Mindy is fun and more difficult than most. a lot of bosu workouts are just too easy, once u get used to the surface of the bosu. I read Amy Bento is coming out with Bosu workout next year in her Dynamic Series lineup so i'm looking forward to that. I love Amy's cardio and hi/lo! So, give the Mindy workouts a try. I belong to video exchange fitness forum and we post workouts there to trade and our wishlists and we just mail them out to each other. Its the honor system but i havent had any issues and ive been doing it for years. I've saved a ton of money that way! Mindy has a workout called Sports Conditioning that is a really good Bosu workout. I like her personality, she is very chatty. alot of people dont but she was one of the first instructors i worked out with (step) and still do her workouts today. i like variety :)

autumn i'm sorry you are feeling the way you do abotu your forum members. maybe u need a hiatus and will return. I agree, Christ wouldnt turn anyone believers away from his table as long as you believed and had faith in Him.

I hope you feel better about it soon!

Jen, it's hard to believe you're 1/2 way already, but it makes sense, I would be 24 weeks if I hadn't m/c'd. Oh, I have to stop thinking that way!!!!!! Anyway, I remember a certain someone who was EXCESSIVELY FATIGUED the first months of pregnancy. I"m not naming any names, but her first initial is "J" and her last is "n" and she works for law enforcement. :p:p:p How fast we forget!!! You must be young...to forget so easily. Let's see...... you must be in your mid20s? Am I right? Should i keep going? Medium/long straight hair? Either dark blonde? Brown eyes? :p:p

Mindy Mylrea has been a favorite of mine for a long time. Unfortunately, she hasn't put out a step workout in a long time---veered off into specialized w/o's. Sports Conditioning is a favorite, as is Interval Express and Awesome Intervals. My favorite BOSU w/o is a CIA 2 Cardio Workouts---I think is the name of it. Seazen Ziegler is the instructor---I really like her too. Amy Bento is top notch (next to Cathe in my book).

I think I will do Sports Conditioning today! Thanks for bringing it up again!
