----- pp monday -----

Slept great last night! Only one feeding!

Kate--Busy morning, huh? :)

Hope everyone is having a great day!! It's NOVEMBER already!! I better get busy on my Christmas shopping?? Am I the only one who hasn't started yet? I usually start in October, but uh, not this year! :p

s - glad you slept good!!! no shopping yet here. we just buy for the kids tho - no adults. we were all just exchanging gift cards, basically, so dh and i said no more.

quiet here - for now! dds are at school. i got a lot of thank you's wrote out and some paperwork done. i wanna exercise!!

dh and i did plank work from coreblast last night. very humbling, i got lotsa work to do!!!! hoping for a bit of a walk today - its a beautiful fall day!

Stephanie~glad you got a good nights sleep! 1 feeding is great! I fully planned to christmas shop already, but it hasn't happened. I will have to rely on online shopping this year. Not much going to stores for me since they are all about an hour away. We have walmart and that is about it.

Kate~I don't even wanna think about ab work.. ugh. My dr. said None at all for 6 weeks because he stitched my abs back together from where they seperated so he said def. no ab work. I am thinking about starting some walking again in another week or so. I want to see how the pp bleeding is at that point. I have had some then it stopped for 3 days then it came back really bad for the last 5 days or so. Now it seems to have almost stopped again. Have you been working out already?? You are a week in front of me right? 3 week pp now?

I need a recap. Can anyone do one? Who all has had their October babies???

Trish--No ab work for six weeks sounds like you're on my schedule! I just am afraid to do it because of my c-section incision which isn't healed YET. I went to the park with DH and boys yesterday and walked about 1/4 mile while holding Charlie in a frontpack. It felt good to just walk and get some fresh air. I also bought a pp pilates DVD that I need to try.

Kate--Glad you're having a quiet day! I have ALL the boys tomorrow because schools are out for election day. Ugh.

Update for Trish:
I had Charlie Oct. 2.

hi girls!

ryder slept great last night:)

kate- i have been doing planks on my knees:eek: it won't take us that long to build our ab strenghth back up.

stephanie-only one feeding! that's great and no i have not started my christmas shopping. i have picked up a few things for the boys stockings but that is it.

trish-ryder is two days older than sara, he was born on the 18th. i read your post yesterday about sara's weight, all of my boys have gained their weight back slowly my ped said as long as they are peeing, pooping and are satisfied after nursing that everything is fine.

so i have worked out 3 days in a row! no more than 20-30min on the elliptical but it feels great i might even try and do some ub weights this afternoon.

candra

Candra~good for you on some workouts! I am impressed at only 2 weeks pp! WOW! Are you healing okay?

Stephanie~ it's still not healed?? : ( My incision seems to be healed pretty well. I am sore a bit inside though. Just when I move certain ways or sit for too long I feel stiff/sore. They put these steri strips on my incision and the dr. said not to take them off, but they aren't coming off on their own either. I took off 2 and plan to try 2 more today. Did you get those? I didn't have staples just these strips, but they are itching like crazy and they need to come off. My pp appt isn't till Dec. 1.. it's gonna drive me mad if they are on there that long. lol

Hello! I'm happy to report that Caden spent part of the night in his crib! He slept from 9:30-11:30, 2-4, then from 5-5:45. That was really going above and beyond for him, so I'm not expecting a repeat performance for tonight, but we'll try.

We went for a stroller ride today--only about his 5th since birth. He strongly dislikes his carseat and stroller, so on a good day, he can manage about a 20minute walk. I was able to run (w/a little walking) for 20minutes this morning, but it took me a couple sessions due to Caden waking. Daily 60minute workouts are what I miss most now that I'm a new mom.

Candra and Stephanie-Yeah for sleep!

LisaMarie

LisaM- you will workout for 60 min again:) The newborn stage goes by so fast.

Trish-I am feeling really good! I had a vaginal delivery with no stitches so it has been a really easy recovery. I haven't started with any lb work b/c it is still uncomfortable to do any squats or lunges maybe in a couple of weeks.

Candra

trish - yes, 3wks pp. im cleared for walking and light ab work. anxious for more. oh yeah, i need time and energy too! i could be exercising but i opted to let a minor tear heal on its own in lieu of getting stitches. ill get checked out in 3 more weeks. til then im "not allowed to uncross my legs"!:D

steph - i had a short walk outside today too. sooo nice! let us know how you like your dvd.

candra - wtg on the wo's! and sleep too!!!

lisa, cadens doing great! baby steps!;):D i miss reg wo's too, but they WILL come back! i promise!
