Powerstrike 3 Video?

Mic

Cathlete
Has anyone gotten this and is it any good? I saw the other two videos but they weren't available in DVD form. So should I go for the third one or try one of the other two? Thanks

I only have the third one. Folks who have all three typically claim not to like vol. 3 as it's less intense than the first two. Granted, I have no other Powerstrikes to which I can compare vol 3, but I enjoy this DVD. It's not as intense as KP&C or the blast section of Kick Max, but it has improved my kicks and my balance. Plus, both Ilaria and Patricia display amazing form and technique.

I also only have the Powerstrike 3 DVD.

I'm kind of scared to post because I don't think I've ever seen anybody say anything negative about the Powerstrikes (aside from the production aspects) :D . So please, please forgive me! LOL

I love KPC and I love KM, but I have to say, I have major dread factor when it comes to Powerstrike 3. I really like both instructors (they really do have incredible form), and the workout moves are great.......it's just that they do one side for what feels to be a looooong time before going to the other side, and something about that system for me,...well, it just feels long to me - thus the dread factor. Almost every time it comes up in my rotation, I end up switching to KM.

People are always talking about how great 1&2 are, and because I really like the instructors I'm curious, but I just don't want to have them on videotape.

On a more positive note, word has it that they are coming out with a new one?........

Yes, Illaria is leading a new PS workout, as well as a Forza (sword) workout. They DVDs/videos are ready as we speak, but she says that they won't be for sale until around labor day (Sept. 4).

I like all the Powerstrikes (and I have about 10 different ones, from the beginning through M3). M3 does get into things more gradually than M1 or M2 (or most of the other workouts), but I like it as a form practice. If you punch hard, go low on the squats, and kick with power, it'll get you sweating!

Thanks guys, maybe I will give it a try. I heard they were coming out with a new one too. I really don't want to get anything on video form, I prefer DVD. Thanks again.
