Of course you know I'm not Cathe but just thought I would relate what I've done.
I have done this before but just didn't use as heavy of weights as I would normally use (for Circuit Max) and just focus more on the cardio. However it would probably be best to follow with an all cardio day.
I think it really depends on the weights you're using. Of course you always want to be careful to avoid an overuse injury.
