Time to resume our check in.
Morris, how did your trip go?
Mary, Linda, rachel, Heather ,Curly how are all your little ones. Mel, any luck stroller buying? Welcome to any other mommies.

Next week Ashley has her 4 month check up. I am thinking she is between 12-13 pounds. She has continued to sleep through the night and awakes happy. I have been giving her more formula these days due to convenience.

I am about 1.5 pounds away from prepreggo weight and most of my clothes now fit. Yeah!

Workouts: I did a cia week.
Sun-cia 9905-franny b.-hi/lo
Mon-cia powerbar training
Tues-cia two workouts with a vengeance-franny
Wed-cia extreme intervals + pump party
Thurs-cia 9905-step+ walk to the park
Fri-cia 9903-bootcamp+ chasing after 9 - 3 year olds at Alexis' birthday party
Sat-cia strength express + walk to the park

Good morning! I've missed you guys!

Lincoln is doing very well - he had a growth spurt last week so he was eating every hour. I was exhausted with all the feedings and didn't get in a lot of good workouts. Since the growth spurt ended, though, he's switched to just one feeding per night. At his appointment two weeks ago he was 11 pounds and 24 inches - that's 50% for weight and 75% for height. He'll be tall and slim just like daddy!

Here's what I managed to do last week:
Sun: Stretch
Mon: 30 minute walk
Tues: Basic Step
Wed: 30 minute walk, Basic Step Upper-Body add-on
Thurs: Off
Fri: Basic Step
Sat: Off

Shopaholic - good job on the weight loss! I've got a couple of pounds to go, but I'm not too worried. Before I got pregnant I lost 25 pounds, so the weight I'm at now still feels really "light".

I too am experiencing the sleep deprivation caused by Katie's growth spurt. I need sleep! She is starting to stretch it out to 2-3 hours between feedings again but it is still not enough sleep for me.

I managed only two workouts last week. I did Imax 3 and Boot Camp. I recorded Boot Camp from Fit TV so I am not sure if it is the whole workout or not. I am guessing not as it is an hour and that included commercials. This works out good for me as I don't think I could do the whole workout yet.

I have 6 pounds to go to get to pre-pregnancy weight. I would like to lose an additional 10 though. Most of my clothes fit now. I have joined Weight Watchers as my biggest issue is eating too many calories! This is mostly due to stress and sleep deprivation.

I am anxiously awaiting Cathe's new workouts. I ordered them over a year ago!

For some reason Katie will not take a bottle from my husband anymore without much grief. She will take one for the babysitter and for my mom. Not sure why. She used to get a bottle from him every night but then he started traveling again and I would just nurse instead. She won't take a bottle from me anymore either. I should have kept giving her one every evening when he was gone. It doesn't matter if I am home or gone she doesn't want to take a bottle for him. Has anyone else experienced this?

Rachel, Alexis refused to take a bottle until she was eating solids. With Ashley, I kept giving her a bottle daily so now she loves them. Keep trying but infants do get their preferences.

hi everyone

so glad you started the check in shopper! i had a wonderful trip with finn. he loved flying and really it couldn't have gone better. typical me fashion, though, i worried way too much. i was very tired when i got back and am just starting to catch up on sleep. good news is, dh got home on saturday. bad news is he may have to go back out of town. i'll know more this week.

i have a big week coming up - i am starting back to work part time. thursday is my first day and i am terrified and excited and sad - feel very hormonal. i am sure in a month i will feel better. finn is now 3 months old and sleeping from 10:30 to 4 am (though he had the same growth spurt you guys dealt with - exhausting for sure). i think he is close to 10.5lbs and is so funny! i adore him. i am still nursing him and it is going fine. hopefully i can transition to work while still nursing with out too much trouble.

my week:
sun - run 7 mil
mon - kpc
tues - run 7 mil
weds - run 7 mil
thurs- imax 3, me upper only
fri - step blast, legs and glutes
sat - run 7 mil, pub

i hope finn takes a bottle from day care fine. up till now he has just had the occasional daily bottle, but no issues. something else for me to worry about;-)

Morris - I'm so glad your trip went well! I think it's always better to be over-prepared rather than not prepared enough.

Regarding the bottles, Lincoln was taking a bottle about three times a week with no problem until the growth spurt last week, when we went a week with no bottles at all. After that, he won't take more than two ounces from a bottle...and I get the feeling that he's eating "just enough" to get him though until I get home.

I think it's somewhat funny that after spending so much time getting used to breastfeediing, that now it's a challenge to get him to *not* breastfeed.
