Hi everyone,

Heather, hope you had your baby!
Mel, any news? is there a chance you are pregnant again?
Hope all you other mommies are doing well.

Ashley weighed in at her 2 week apt last Mon. at 6 pounds, 14 ounces. She is starting to be more awake during the day but still nurses about every 2 hours at night. We have started her on a bottle at least once a day of formula or breastmilk since dd# 1 refused the bottle. Alexis is doing well with as she calls it "her baby".My parents came to see Ashley and loved her and say she looks just like Alexis.

I am about 1 size away from fitting into my clothes, with 6-7 pounds left to lose. I have started increasing my workouts a little but keeping the weights light and impact low.

Workouts:
Sun-firm-ultimate calorie blaster
Mon-pam cosmi-cardio sculpt-cardio sculpt sect.+quickfit postnal upper + 3.2 mile roundtrip walk to the park
Tues-walk to the park+TJ-turbo sculpt
Wed-i forgot what I did

Sat-basic step+ bodyfusion sect. 2 +firm CAWT.

shopaholic you are my hero!!!Your workouts are are amazing and you are nursing every 2hrs!!! I too am giving my little man formula and he eats 5 oz. every 2-3 hrs. My ped. said that I cant over feed him so just keep feeding him. I have started walking this week and I bought one of those front carriers so I can keep up with my 2year old on his bicycle. I was told by the ob NOT to workout until 6 weeks because of bad tear I had during labor(4th degree) I feel fine though so you know it is killing me. I snuck in some abdominals last week though just for my mental health. Keep up the great work and I will hopefully be posting my workouts after july 3rd(6 week check)

Hello. We're back from vacation (Seaside, FL). It was a great time. Unfortunately, Gus (7 mos) hated the sand on the beach so he spent a lot of time at the pool. The girls (5 and 3) loved the trip. I didn't get many workouts in, but the town is set up in such a way that we did a lot of walking. This was likely counteracted by the enormous amount of food, ice cream, soda, etc. that we consumed.

Here's what I did: 3 mile run, Firm Power Yoga, long walk (about 3 1/2 miles), Keli Roberts boot camp (50 minutes).

Have a great week.

Kristan

kristen, it sounds like a great trip!
Mary, my doc said I could do low impact. My tear was between a 2 and 3 and he said would heal by 3 weeks.(I am now 3.5 weeks postpartum). Your little man would tower over my petite gal who still measured 19 inches at her 2 week appointment. I have her in premie or NB clothes, 0-3 month clothes are too big!I was amazed that you only had 10 pounds to lose as of last week, despite only gaining 21.5 pounds, I still have 6-7 pounds to lose.

Your little boobie is so petite, Andrew is wearing 3-6 mths onesies and stage 2 diapers. I think I retain a lot of fluid while I am preggo which is why I gained 40 lbs. with both boys. I am happy about what the scale reads but...I look like I have a spare tire around the middle. The funny thing is that I have a new respect for my body and I can honestly say that even though it is out of shape, it has birthed 2 babies and that is a really cool accomplishment. You probably dont even look like you need to lose anymore weight, your workouts were incredible up until the end!!

Hi there!

No news yet, I just purchaed my pg test;however I think it'll be negative as my nausea has gone away. I have to say I'd do a little sigh of relief when it comes back negative...as DH has been so sick this year & I've really had to work overtime to keep family together. Since DH is stay at home Dad, I think we'd have to instill some military help if we had number 4 so soon. On the other hand, I'd really like to have a number 4, if it's in God's plan...just not so soon. We'll see. I should know more tomorrow. ;)

Shopaholic, my little Jadon was in newborn clothes too. 0-3 was too small, which I didn't even know there was a difference until I had a 6lb 12oz baby! Even at 6 mos, he's in 3 mos clothes. I don't mind b/c being little he's going to be my "baby" longer. :) However, he's already cruising furniture & trying to walk already!!!

Ran my 1st 5K this Saturday in 28min 12sec. I'm all siked now & can't wait to improve on my time. I"ve been running as much as I can...no DVDs in a while.

Hope everyone's doing well. :) More news to come...

Hello Everyone! I keep getting later and later with my checking in. Maybe I will do better next week. :)

Upon accessing the diet/exercise damage from being on and off vacation for the past 3 weeks I've gained 3.5 pounds. I guess it could be worse. I thought this week would be a good one to get back on track but things have been really chaotic at work and home. On Tuesday my work decided to go to Kings Island (amusement park) for a day trip on the company. It was so much fun, but eating well is very hard to do. However, I'm so glad I decided to go with them. It is the only time I've been when it was not hot or so extremly busy that you had to wait an hour for a ride. The whole day we could basically walk right up and get on, only 5 minutes tops wait time for each ride. The only exception was one ride when we had to wait 20 minutes.

Anyway, here are my sparse workouts from last week:
Tuesday - Ran 3.5 miles
Thursday - Ran 6 miles
Saturday - walked around all day shopping with friends, but unfortunately did not eat as well as I should have

I'll post this weeks workouts when I check in next week.

Shopaholic - Ashley & Alexis sound so adorable and petite. My DD is a bubba girl. She literally changed sizes every 1.5 months to another size until she was 6 months old. At that time she was wearing 12 month clothes. Fortunately she has slowed down and has stayed with that size, but she will probably be in 18 months by fall. BTW great job on the workouts!

Mary 1616 - You'll be up and exercising in no time. Enjoy the short time off.

Kristan - Glad to hear you had a great vacation. Sounds like you still got in a lot of great workouts.

Melanie - Let us know if you are pg, the suspense is killing me. Way to go girl on your 5K!!! You did awesome! When are you going to run another one? :) ;-) :)

Waves to all the Mommies out there!!

Hey everyone! This is my first week postpartum- YAY!!!!!!!!:D If you can't tell I am a little excited!;-) Mekhi was born 6/12/06, weighed 8 lb 12 ozs and was 21 inches but seems so small to me after first son was almost 10 lbs! ALL of his clothes are way to big, even the 0-3. He loves to curl up the legs like a little froggie, so cute!
Mel- ds #1 is named jayden and his b-day is 12/23/02!

Did my first workout tonight on the treadmill for 30 minutes, hill intervals, did modified abs, and modified push-ups and realized I am WEAK!!!! But thanks to Cathe in much better shape than anyone could hope for! Gained 26 pounds total and have lost 14, so 12 to go!
