Hi to all you mommies and any mommies to be lurking here. Ashley is growing like a weed and now fills out her 0-3 month clothes. All of a sudden she started sleeping through the night 10 or 11 pm to 6 or 7 am. I have been giving her a bottle of formula before bed. She is still loving her bumboo seat.

We all have colds this week, ugh! A good workout week but I my weight has plateued (can't spell!). I am stuck at 2-2.5 pounds above prepreggo weight.

Workouts:
Sun- supersets
Mon-walk to the park +90 min. premix SPJ/SB
Tues-walk to the park+3 sets of upper from push/pull
Wed-82 min. premix L+G/KPC +walk to the park
Thurs-walk to the park+ready, step, go+ TJ 20 min. and bootysculpt abs
Fri-Bootcamp+ TJ PK and jam.
Sat-off-went to provincetown and walked around at a slow pace.

hey shopaholic - that is fabulous ashley is sleeping thru the night. we had a lovely stretch of 6 days where finn slept from 10pm to 4 am, then for the last week it is more like 10pm to 2am. but, hopefully in another 2 weeks or so it will be longer. lately he has decided wake up time is at 6:15am instead of 7:30am. not quite sure what to do there.

finn is otherwise great. he had his 2 mmon visit last week and is in the 5th % for weight and height. head circumference is in the 25th%. he sure is cute:) he smiles all the time now, and is such a joy.

dh left town for 22days on sunday, so while last weeks workouts were good, this week is off to a rougher start. we really miss him, and i must say, i dread doing all those things he did such as grocery shopping. plus, i am going to miss my early morning runs.

hope everyone else is doing well.

sun - imax 3, walk 2 mil
mon - run 8 mil, musc endur lower body only
tues - run 8 mil, musc endur upper body only
weds step blast, low max blast only premix
thurs - run 8 mil, pub
fri - run 8 mil
sat - kpc,legs and glutes

we tried finn out in our baby jogger. his little legs barely went past the harness. while it is fine for walking, i think i will wait a bit before running with him. he certainly loves to be out in it though and looking around.

Hi...

(Hi shopaholic!)

Is this a pretty regular check-in? I was thinking of poking in. I haven't lurked too much, (at all), so I don't know how old your children are. Are most of you freshly postpartum, or do some of you have kids several years old?

I'm a SAHM with 2 kids, ages almost 4 and almost 2.

Shopaholic knows me from another forum as a babbler, and is thinking "uh-oh", I'm sure. I promise to restrain it.

Edited to add: looks like you all report a whole week's worth of workouts at a time?

Gisela

Hi Gisella, are you following me?Lol. Most of the moms here have younger kids but you are welcome here. we had a moms of toddler check in though which seems to have disappeared. Maybe I'll sart it again.

Good afternoon! We have our 2-month appointment next week, so I'm anxious to see how Lincoln is progressing. According to the Lactation Consultant's scale, he's averaged 5.5 ounces a week for the past four weeks, which is a bit on the low side... sleep-wise, he does a 5-hour stretch a couple times a week, otherwise it's every two hours.

I'm feeling a bit "wobbly" during my workouts, especially my step workouts, so I'm still not back up to 100%.

Sun: 30 min walk
Mon: 30 min walk, Basic Step upper-body add-on
Tues: off
Wed: 30 min walk, Basic step lower-body add-on
Thur: Basic Step
Fri: 30 min walk
Sat: off

Morris, your workouts still look great. How hard to single parent for the next 22 days. How much does Finn weigh now?
Linda, Listen to your body if you are feeling wobbly.

shopper, finn is now just under 10lbs. i am so tired today - this is the first morning i can remember where i did not exercise. he woke every 2 hrs last night! i am trying to motivate myself to do something while he naps here. how much does ashley weigh?

linda, sorry you are not feeling so hot. is it ligaments that make you feel wobbly or fatigue or just balance. i found it took me a while to get used to the "hollow" feeling from where finn was. how big is lincoln?

mary, hope you are out there and well. how is andrew?

Morris, I think Ashley is around 11 or 12 pounds now. Glad you took a day off, you need it. Finn maybe going through a growth spurt which is why he awoke more.

Lincoln weighed 11 pounds 5 ounces this week, but I don't know where that puts him in the percentages. Last checkup he was exactly at 50%.

I feel a bit "clumsy" during my workouts, which I think is a combination of my joints still being loose, and me not being used to working out without a 25-pound weight strapped to my belly. I'm taking it slow, but I'm itching to get to my old step workouts...

Morris - Lincoln alternates between feeding every two hours one night and a nice five-hour stretch the next, so I know how you feel when the feedings are so often.
