Hello! Wow-what a busy weekend for us. My mom left on Friday to go home, and she was to come back lastnight. My DH's dad and his girlfriend came to visit on Friday-Sunday. And, my DH's brother, his wife and little boy (1 1/2) came to visit on Saturday. We also took Andy to a birthday party on Saturday, and we took little Aidan with us too. So, needless to say, after we got home from church yesterday, all we wanted to do was take naps. At least Aidan cooperated!
My incision is still a little oozy, Stephanie. One part in slightly red, but i really think it's just from my waistband of pants/underwear rubbing it. My sis told me to put Aquaphor or vaseline on it to help minimize the irritation. Still feels a little "pully", and I am still quite inflated. When I go back for my 6 week check-up, I will ask again about this lump in the front-the midwife said she thought it was my bowel (yuck-o), so we'll see.
Lastnight was not a peaceful night. I wanted to go to bed around 9:30p.m., but it was around 11:00p.m. until Aidan wanted any parts of sleep. Then, he was so gassy that as soon as I would put him down, go back to my bed and lay down, he would wake up all frantic. I have been giving him Mylecon drops, and they seem to help sometimes. It also seems that when I feel gassy, he is gassy too. I am going to cut way down on dairy in my diet and see if that does the trick? Any other suggestions? I am breastfeeding. Of course, Aidan is sleeping now.
