Ok...am I a nerd or what? I cannot figure out how to put a picture in my post. Can anyone help me out and tell me how to do it?

Well, that depends. Do you want to just do a single picture, or do you want a picture as your avatar (beside all your posts)? Your picture has to be hosted somewhere, like Picturetrail or Photobucket, in order for you to be able to post it here. Is it hosted or is it just on your computer?

I just want to put some pictures in a post here on the forum, not in my avatar. The pictures that I wanted to share are on my computer (about 4 of them...as part of a little message for everyone here). I don't have a picturetrail. I should though. Maybe this is a good excuse to finally just break down and set one up!

Well, you'll have to host them somewhere, you can't just post them from your computer

Ok...opened a picture trail...which was surprisingly easy and why I hadn't done it yet, who knows.

Shelley...sorry to keep bothering you....}( ....but I am still in need of your guidance if possible. After setting up the picture trail, then what? Do you just paste the link for the image in the message. I kinda wanted the pictures to just show up without someone having to click on a link.

Okay here we go:
Go to your Picturetrail and make sure you're logged in
There is a tab at the top of the page that says "Image URLs" - click on that
Click on the menu item that says thumbnails and make sure it's the right album
It will pull up a screen with your pictures and underneath each picture will be a series of long links
Put your cursor over the link that says "Forums" next to it
Right click right on the link and a little menu will come up - click on "Copy"
Paste that exact thing into your post and your picture will show up in the post
