Hi Mommies! I changed the name of the post a bit because most of us are moving past post-partum, but anyone who recently had a baby is welcome to join us. Wendy-congrats on Joey sleeping through the night. Andy kind of did that last night too. I put him to bed at 8:30p.m., and the first time he woke up was at 4:45a.m. I fed him, then put him down, and he woke up for good at 7:00a.m. I felt like a million bucks!!! Here are my workouts:

Sun: Walk-one hour, upper body of Basic Step and Body Fusion DVD, 10 min. of abs from same DVD
Mon: Kick Max-one hour
Tues: Low Max-one hour
Wed: off
Thurs: Kick Max-one hour, abs-10 min
Fri: Walk-30 min, Low Max-full workout-wow that's long!
Sat: Upper Body-Bowflex

My weight is still the same. Jen V., isn't that funny how we are SO much alike? Hopefully, our last few pounds will come off soon. I know, though, that gradual is better.

My DH just finished his graduate work, so he is home with me till school begins (end of August). We found a track near our house, so we made a goal to go early in the morning with the baby. I run first, and he pushes the stroller, then he runs and I push. We did it this morning, and it felt so good to run again. I didn't run all that much-15 min, but it's a start! Well, I have to run...a little stinker just woke up:)

TY Jen! I am sooo jealous of all of you runners out there. I never was any good at that but I am thinking I might have to try it. It's been years (since highschool) since I've run ANYWHERE! lol I know it's a great fat-burner so I'd love to be able to do it....

Okay so here are my work outs for the past week:

sun: Low Max Premix # 2
mon: SJP
tue: Power Hour (no abs)
wed: IMAX 2 Premix # 1
thu: Boot Camp
fri: SB/SJP step (no sb challenge) + ME Abs
sat: REST

Yesterday I started a new rotation:

Day # 1 Full body weight work out
Day # 2 Steady state Cardio
Day # 3 Circuit work out
Day # 4 Interval work out
Day # 5 Circuit work out
Day # 6 Steady state Cardio
Day # 7 Rest or Stretch or Pilates
Abs= 3x per week

I want to do this rotation for 4-6 weeks and see what it does for me. It's a lot of cardio so hopefully it will help me lose a few pounds while the weight work will preserve my muscle.

Getting cardio in is really hard on these hot muggy days- I don't have air conditioning, and fans just can't cut it. You'll see in my workouts how few "intense" workouts I get in a week. I just can't bring myself to that kind of torture...

Mon. Cathe KPC + Abs
Tues. Cathe GS Legs
Wed. Christi Hot Step
Thurs. Walking + S&H Chest and Back
Sat. Cathe S&H Shoulders, Bis and Tris

I don't know how you exercise AT ALL in heat w/o air conditioning! I go outside for a walk in the heat and it about kills me! lol You are one tough cookie! :)
