Good Morning Moms,:)

Everything is pretty good on this end. Rylan is still being a good baby and I assuming it won't change now b/c he is heading into his 11th week. My pregnancy seemed to drag on but now that I have him here my days are zooming by.I can only imagine how fast my summer is gonna go by....and then I will be back to work in the fall. Then I will have to leave my little boy:-( :-( ;( ;(

I was talking to my friend this week and I think we are going to start a new baby group. The one I am involved in now, most of the babies were born last summer and they are a fair bit older then mine. And they all have kids who are 3 yrs old and they spend a bit of time talking about their older kids and I can't really relate. I need to have a group of moms who have new borns.

I had some good workouts again this week. My scale was down this week...3.5 lbs! I am now 6.5 lbs away from my pre preg weight and 11.5 lbs from my goal weight:) I would imagine I'll gain a pound of that back this week b/c thats what seems to happen.

So here are my workouts:
Sun: 1/2 BC, 20 min run (did not want to workout)
Mon: GS Chest/MM Chest/#2 HC series
Tues: GS Back & Shoulders/MM B&S/ 4 Mile run
Wed: GS Biceps & Triceps/ MM B&T/ Step Blast
Thurs: OFF
Fri: 6 Mile run, 150 waking lunges 12 lbs dumbells, plie squats and abs
Sat: BM2

Alright, I have to feed my baby. I hope everyone as a good week. I was gonna write personnals but my post got cut short.

Hello Mommies!
Hope you all had a good weekend. Crazy for us, as my daughter caught a bad stomach bug and is running a high fever. I think she's starting to come out of it today though. Quite a challenge to have a sick kid and a newborn, but we're doing okay.

Lori, your workouts are so awesome! That's so great you are close to your goal weight and the pounds are coming off so fast. I have lost 1 more pound and now have 11 left. I'm feeling pretty good about it, and am happy that I was able to fit in 5 workouts last week. I'm finally starting to increase intensity and length of workouts too, and some days I split up my workouts (do some during Ryan's nap and then later after the kids are in bed). It seems to work well for me. I'm going to order Low Impact Step and am excited to start moving up with Cathe:) I'm hoping to start some of her harder workouts this summer. Here's what I did last week:

Monday – Prevention Walk your way Slim (Cardio – 45min) & Postnatal Core Conditioning (20min)
Tuesday – Rest Day
Wednesday – Elliptical (intervals-50min) & Postnatal Core Conditioning(20min)
Thursday – Pick your level Fat to Firm Fast (Circuit Training-40min)
Friday – Rest Day
Saturday – Quick Fix Total Cardio Kick (30min)
Sunday – Cathe F. Body Fusion (50min)

Lori, that's a good idea about your baby group. It really is nice to have kids of the same age at play dates.

Have a great week everyone, good luck on your weight loss and fitness goals! :)

Hello mommies,

Hey, I am a little bit earlier this week to check in. I am busy today to get everything ready for my trip tomorrow. I am getting excited but also a little bit worried, because I don't know how well Heidi will be doing. I am sure that she will just do fine and I am worrying for nothing ;) .

Here are my workouts from last week:

Sun - 50 min treadmill walk
Mon - off
Tue - PLB
Wed - PUB
Thu - off
Fri - 45 min treadmill walk
Sat - 30 min treadmill hill climb

I will be taking a couple of Cathe workouts on the trip with me, like Kickmax and Kick, Punch and Crunch. I probably will bring Ab Hits and Butts and Gutts as well. Haven't decided yet what I could bring for upper body work. My parents don't have very heavy weights, so I might just make up my own routine, we'll see.

Heidi is doing really good. Had to do lots of running around and she didn't get really good naps in for 2 days and the next day she was just sleeping all day.

Lori - Wow again on your workouts, they are great!!! Yeah, still haven't look for a baby group, but I will do that when I come back.

Stacey - Sorry to hear that your daughter has been sick, I hope she'll get better soon!!!

Alright girls, gotta go to get everything finished.

Kristine :)

Hi Ladies:)

Kristine, you must be soooo excited about your trip home! And I bet your parents are even more excited then you are.My mom gets excited when she is comming to visit and she only lives an hour away:eek:
Hopefully, it won't be to hard on Heidi, I know that babies can have problems with their ears and stuff. Is your DH going to?

Stacy, your doing great as well.11 lbs from your pre preg weight isn't to bad at all. No one really notices the last 10 lbs.I hope your little girl is feeling better.

Well, I rounded up enough women for baby group so they are all comming here tomorrow afternoon. We decided that afternoon was better, just in case anyone had a hard night and needed to sleep in.

Chat with you all later,
Lori:)

Lori - I am really excited. It's their first grandchild, so they can't wait to meet her.
They said to nurse your baby during take-off and landing so the swallowing can equalize their ears, so that's what I am going to do and she should be fine.

I still will check in with you but after tomorrow from Germany ;) .

Kristine :)

Hi!
Kristine, have a fantastic time in Germany! That sounds like a really fun trip and I bet your baby does great:)

Lori, hope your baby group goes well today, I bet you'll enjoy your new group with younger kids.

Emma is a bit better today after a rough night last night. Poor little thing! I took her to prompt care last night and found out she doesn't have the flu, it's most likely a bad viral infection. The doctor thinks the fever should break today.

Just trying to get my daughter well this week and hopefully get a bit of rest and some light work outs in.

Take care everyone:)
