Good Morning Mommies!:)

Did everyone have a good nights sleep?:) I was so tired last night when he woke at 3 but then at his 6 o'clock feeding I felt much better.
Two nights last week Rylan went to bed a little earlier but it serves no purpose b/c he wakes up 2 x during the night to be fed and then he gets up at 7 for the morning instead of 9-9:30. In the long run, I don't think I get anymore sleep. So this week I finally learned what to do with my stored milk:) I had such a headache Fri night and I was so tired, I decided to go to bed at 10 and I let DH feed him his midnight feeding. I slept until 3:10!(5 hours straight) And then I woke up at 4 with a leaking breast b/c he didn't feed at 12...I went downstairs and pumped 6 oz off! I couldn't beleive how much milk was in the bottle. So once a week (or more:) ) I am going to go to bed early and let DH feed him, just so I can catch up on my sleep.

I didn't lose any weight this week, I actually gained 1.4 lbs. The last time that happened I ended up losing big the next week so thats what I am hoping for again. Either way, I only have 10 lbs let to lose and I think it will be the hardest to drop.

He is still being a good baby and he is so pleasant. He is a real treat to have in the house. He loves to nap in the morning so I can always get my workout in. He now weighs 12 lbs 4 oz. He is getting so big, I think I must have extra fat in my milk!
My workouts this week were;

Sun-4 mile run and abs
Mon LIC
Tues-PLB/CTX Back/5 mile run (broken up)
Wed- Imax 3
Thurs- 40 min run
Fri-BM2
Sat- 8 mile run/ PH abs

Alrighty, looking forward to hearing from everyone!

Hi everyone!

Lori, sounds like you had fantastic workouts last week and your little guy is doing great! I'm sure the sleep issues will work themselves out soon, and just think, all of our little ones will actually be sleeping through the night some day:) That's nice that your husband is giving you some extra sleep time.

Ryan is doing so great! We switched his formula to one that is gentler on his tummy and it has made an enormous difference! He's actually getting sleep during the day now, very little spitting up (before he was spitting up so much that it was waking him up from his naps during the day and he hardly got any sleep all day). He also is starting to get 5-7 hour blocks of sleep at night which is huge for me. I feel much more rested. The regular blocks of day time sleep make for a much happier baby and mommy:) I'm now fitting my workouts in during his afternoon nap as it's usually his longest. I'm also splitting up my workouts a bit, so if I want to do core work and cardio, I'll usually save the core work for before bed. It is working out well and that way I'm sure to get everything done I want to. The good news is I managed to drop 2 more pounds, so only 12 more to lose!!

We had quite a busy weekend and as a result I slacked off on workouts this weekend:( :( Sigh. Well, it's a new week and my goal is 5 days a week until Ryan is a bit older and then I'll aim for 6 days a week. Here's what I did:

Monday – Kathy Kaehler Basics Step Workout (40 min)
Tuesday – Postnatal Core Conditioning/Stretch (35min)
Wednesday – Crunch Burn&Firm Pilates (35min)
Thursday – Rest Day
Friday – Cathe F. Basic Step (30min)&Postnatal Core Cond(20min)
Saturday – Rest Day
Sunday – Rest Day

Okay, hope you and all of your beautiful babies are doing well. Have a great week! Happy workouts too;)

Hi mommies,

Sorry, I am checking in late once again. The time changed messed me up and I was so exhausted yesterday, but today I feel alot better.

Heidi still sleeps between 6-7 hours at night. I normally put her to bed between 9:30 - 10:30 and she usually wakes up at 4:30 - 5:00. And if I am lucky I can put right back down after her feeding for an hour or two. She still feeds every 2-3 hours during the day, but my Dr. said it's normally because she sleeps so long at night, it is kinda like missing a feeding for her, so she wants it during the day.

Heidi really is exploring her voice and makes the funniest noises when we play with her. She really tries to grab things and you can see how hard she is concentrating to do so. ;-)

One more week and I will be flying to Germany with Heidi to visit my parents. They are so excited, they haven't seen her yet, except of pictures and a video!!! I will bring some workout DVDs and I will go jogging to keep up my exercising.

Here are my workouts from last week:

Sun - 50 min treadmill climb
Mon - GS Chest and Triceps
Tue - off
Wed - GS Back, Shoulders and Biceps (Timersaver Premix)
Thu - Butts and Gutts (Standing Legs and Core Premix)
Fri - 45 min treadmill climb
Sat - Butts and Gutts (Floorwork and Core Premix)

I know these are the workouts I did, but I am not sure if they are in the right order I did them. Wow, I am still so brain dead, I need to start writing them down after I am done, so I don't forget. x(

Lori - Great, you got some rest and good idea to let your husband feed the baby once a week so you can get some extra rest.

Stacey - 5-7 hours, isn't that wonderful? :) That sure helps.

Alright ladies, gotta take care of little Ms. Heidi.

Have a great week
Kristine :)
