Good Morning Ladies:)

Now that I had to enter the date...I realize that tomorrow is DH's b-day:eek: better get my butt in gear and get some cards!!!

We had a good week here. Nothing exciting happened though. Rylan is still sleeping through the night but no rolling over yet. He rolls to his side and thats where he stays:) Rylan isn't nursing a whole lot these days b/c he is on solids now. Anyone else find this? I wonder sometimes where he gets the milk from b/c I feel empty most times!

I did some good workouts last week. I am following June '06 rotation and really enjoying it. Lots of variety!

Sun- 8 mile run
Mon- CTX UB and BBW/ walk
Tues- RS & Abs
Wed- 4.5 mile run/ LL/ 2 walks
Thurs- walked
Fri- 60 min run
Sat- off

Ive been a little slack with the ab work. I have to get back into it.

Stacy, Im not real good with veggies here either! I can get everything else in but the only way for me to eat veggies is to eat a nice big salad and i ate salad so much a few yrs ago that i couldn't be bothered now! Im thinking about starting to count my points again to see if i can lose another couple of pounds. Ive been at my prepreg weight for a while and now I would like to get a little lower.I just can't seem to get into it now though. It was easier to do when I had 20 lbs to lose!

Kristine, did she roll over again? No one is rolling in my house:) lol Im sure he will with time though. How is the bf'ing going? I was thinking of weaning Rylan but he wants nothing to do with the bottle.

Jean, Im sure you will soon figure something out with your workouts. It has to be harder though when you have 3 kiddies!

Have a good week everyone!
Lori

Hi all- hope everyone is having a good weekend. We had dd dance recital yesterday - so much fun!

I did manage to get ONE workout in last week-yeah! I did basic step with no risers but hey- I still did it. I'm going to keep trying this week. Everyone, including Jack and me- have colds. We're all good and cranky here}(

I also decided to join ww today online. This baby weight is just not moving at all and I think I need something structured to get me going:D

Have a wonderful week!

Hi mommies,

Good to hear that everyone is doing quite well. We are too. My DHs oldest daughter moved in yesterday to leave with us and go to college up here. Still have to get her some shelves etc. to get her all moved in, but so far so good. Heidi just loves her, it's so cute.
It's quite tight in our 1300 sqf house, but we'll work it out.

Well, not much rolling over here either. She rolled one more time onto her tummy and I saw it half way and one time from her tummy onto her back, but that's it. Can't wait until she starts doing new stuff. :7

Here are my workouts from last week:

Mon - Inhale (Yoga with Steve Ross)
Tue - Core Synergistics
Wed - Stretch X
Thu - off
Fri - Kenpo X
Sat - Cardio X
Sun - Yoga (haven't done it yet, but sure hope I will :p )

Lori - It seems like she is still nursing the same, but I have issues with, what we think, reflux so sometimes she doesn't nurse much anyway. Yes, my breasts feel like totally empty sometimes as well. I want to nurse her for at least 6 months, well we are almost there and when however long I can or want to continue. Right now, I am thinking to continue, but that changes from time to time ;-) .

Jean - Sorry to hear you and your little one have been sick, I hope you'll feel better soon.

Sorry, Heidi just woke up
gotta go
Kristine :)

Well, doesn't look like I'll get my workout done today. It's already 8 pm :-( .

Well, tomorrow I will start the last phase of the P90X Lean Rotation, but I feel kinda burnt out on it and I am thinking of starting a P90X like rotation with Cathe workouts I put together, it just has a little more variety than P90X. You have 3 different kickbox workouts to choose from instead of doing the same one once a week for 12 weeks.

What do you think, stick 5 more weeks to P90X or start a new rotation? Any input is appreciated.

Kristine :)

Kristine, I don't know if I could stick that long to a rotation anyway. I think the longest I could go is 6 weeks! If your seeing changes I would stick to it for another little while, if not, Id switch.
Rylan finally rolled over yesterday! Is greatgrandmother was the only one he saw it though and I think she was proud of that b/c she kept repeating it over and over. She is 81 so she likes to repeat herself! LOL He as already rolled over a couple of times today to but he gets mad when he can't roll back..hahaha
Im glad to hear Im not the only one with boobie probs! He seems to get milk from them, I just wonder where it comes from! He seems happy enough though. I said I would be happy to make it to Aug bf'ing. I don't know why, thats just a month I picked and I think I could make it. The next couple of days are going to be crappy so maybe I will stay home and nurse him to get more milk in.

Jean, you should join us on the ww's check in. Its kind of dwindling so the more memebers the better. I signed up for ww's on line when Rylan was just 4 weeks old b/c I got stuck at 154 for 2 weeks! I reached my prepreg weight little over a month ago when he was 4 monthes old. I fit into all of my old clothes now but I still need to tighten my middle some. Hope the kiddies feel better soon.

Lori:)

Hi everyone!
Sorry to be so late posting!

Sounds like things are going pretty well for you all. Lori, sorry to hear the milk supply is dwindling, but at least Rylan is happy:) Kristine, I don't know much about the px90 rotation, but do get where you're coming from about getting burned out. I find that I also like a lot of variety. I try to do several Cathe workouts a week because I love her workouts, and then the other workouts I mix up quite a bit. I've been lucky because my local library will order a lot of fitness dvds so I've hardly had to pay for any workouts. I do have to purchase the Cathe ones, but they are well worth the money. LIC is the next for me to buy. Jean, so nice to hear from you and I'm sure the weight loss will kick in, just takes some time. My friend who just had a baby in April decided to join WW and is very excited about it, seems like a great idea.

Along the weight loss lines, I'm happy to report that I've dropped 2 more pounds and am now only 5lbs. from my goal weight!! Very excited about it. My weight loss has been pretty slow the last few months, but at least continuing to drop. I'm hoping to be down to goal weight by the end of July or August.

Was pretty tired last week (I unfortunately suffer from menstrual migraines during my period which really knock me out), so my workouts were pretty light. I was able to get 5 in though, including 3 core workouts (really trying to focus on that area!):

Monday – Rest Day
Tuesday – Rest Day
Wednesday – 10Min Solution Pilates (Upper/Lower/Stretch-30min)
Thursday – Crunch Fat Burning Ab Attack (30min)
Friday – Outdoor Walk (30min)
Saturday – Kim Spreen Cardio Camp (Hi/Lo & Kickboxing- 50min)
Sunday – Elliptical Intervals and Pilates for Abs (50min)

Really love the Kimberly Spreen workout, she's a great instructor too. Picked that one up from my library on Sat as they just ordered it for me. Have a great week everyone! Hope those babies continue to roll, Ryan is still a tummy to back roller, and can kind of roll to the side from his back. :)

Alright, so I decided to start a new rotation, I just got bored with P90X and didn't think I would be able to the same workouts for 5 more week :-( .
Dont' get me wrong, I really like P90X, it's great, but I miss my Cathe's and that my workouts just fly by. So today I did GS Back, Shoulder and Biceps and CM Seg 1 and it just flew by and I enjoyed it so much. I felt really workout! }( :D :) :7

Lori - I guess as long as the babies are happy, we apparently have enough milk, somethere ;-) .

Stacey - Great on the weight loss. I sure hope that going back to Cathe will get the scale moving for me.

Ok, ladies, looking forward to do IMAX 2 tomorrow. I hope that it won't kill me ;-) .

Kristine :)

Hi all- I'm happy to report that I've officially joined ww and Lori- I would love to be part of the check-in. What name does the group go by? I'm starting out with Core because I need to get all the "white" stuff out of my system.

I was also able to workout both Monday and Tuesday so far. Its only been for about 30 min but at least it's a start!

Kristine- I'm really interested in your opinion of P90X. I keep seeing the infomercial at 2:00 AM when I'm feeding Jack and it looks so tough that I'm afraid to buy it.

Stacey- that's so great that you're losing- congrats on getting so close to goal!

Have a wonderful day-
Jean

Jean,
I can definitely relate to the the craziness of having 3!!! :)

Case in point, my trip to the store today with all 3 kids in tow. I finished shopping, paid, got kids loaded into car, drove all the way home....and realized I'd left the shopping cart with all my groceries in it in the parking lot of the store!! Okay, NEVER done that before in my life. Here I was thinking how great I was doing running errands with the whole crew! I luckily was able to get my groceries back as someone had returned the cart to the store. Phew!

Have to have a good laugh about it;) I told the kids to be sure to remind mommy to put the groceries in the car next time! They were so cute about it and assured me they'd help out:)
