Hey Mom's!:)

I didn't get to start this thread yesterday but I thought someone else might have. I guess we were all busy yesterday!
I had my first real night out Sat night. I went out at 10 and didn't get home until 2:30! And then for some weird reason Rylan woke at 3:30. I put him in bed with me for a while but he wouldn't settle so DH had to take him b/c at this point, I seriously needed some sleep! I don't think there was anything wrong with him, other then the fact that he wanted to get up!

Anyway, my workouts last week were pretty good. Lets see if I can remember!
Sun- 60 mins run
Mon- OFF
Tues-GS UB & 50 mins run
Wed- 60 mins run
Thurs- B&G Premix
Fri- HC Extreme (hi-lo intervals)
Sat- BM2 & ME

Stacy, good job on the weightloss! It does take alittle while to get there and it is your 3rd:eek:  Rylans sleeping wasn't to bad when he was teething. He would wake around 5:30 and stay up but not really fussy...then he would go back to bed around 6:30. Teething isn't fun though.

Kristine, I haven't felt or seen much difference since Rylan got his teeth. He never did chew on me anyway..so Im hoping he won't start!:+ Im trying to wean the bf'ing now. For his 2nd feeding he gets a bottle. I will probably do this for another couple of weeks and then take out another feeding. Prehaps in Sept I will give it up altogether. He mastered the bottle now and has no problem downing 6 oz!

Alright, I should get a move on!

Have a good week everyone!

Hi mommies,

I hope that you are all doing well. Lori, looks like you had a good time out, that's great, mommies need some time for theirselves sometimes ;-) . Sorry that Rylan woke up in the middle of the night. Happens to Heidi sometimes too, but at least she doesn't wake up at 12 or 1 am anymore wanted to nurse as she did 2 weeks ago. Still no teeth in this house. Her head feels sometimes hot and she is sweating but so far no teethies coming through.

Other than that, Ms. Heidi is doing great. She now talks up a storm all day long, it is so cute. She is just a little wiggle worm and wants to get her hands into everything. Sometimes it is hard to put her down for a nap even though she is tired, because she just wants to keep going and sometimes I just have to get her after 30 minutes without her having taken a nap, but what can you do ;-) .

Here are my workouts from last week:

Mon - S&H Triceps and Biceps
Tue - Yoga
Wed - S&H Chest and Back
Thu - IMAX (it was tough  )
Fri - S&H Shoulders and Legs
Sat - off
Sun - 45 min treamill hill climb walk

Just noticed today that in 4 weeks I will be going back to Germany again for 2 weeks to visit my parents. Oh, it's going to be fun, I am really looking forward to it, except the flight. Heidi is now too big, so I won't get a bassinet for her anymore, so she'll be on my lap for 10 hours, woohoo :( , we'll see how that goes.

Ok, ladies, just got done with my workout and I am ready to hit the shower.

Hope to talk to you later
Kristine :)

Kristine, it sounds as if we both have some busy bodies on our hands! Rylan wiggles and wiggles and squirms! I think when he starts moving on his own, I am going to be chasing after him from the time his eyes open in the morning, till he goes to sleep again! Im not looking forward to that! I did that with my little girl, she was such a pick fingers!
How long are you planning to nurse? I was going to wait a little longer b/c it just about killed me the other day to pay $25 for a container of formula but I think I may start weaning him a little more now. Either that or try drinking more water to see if I can inrease my milk. I haven't been good with the water lately.

Hi gals!
Well, not much to report here. Unfortunately I was sick with a bad head cold all last week! No workouts for me, but did get rest and am all better now. I'm actually typing from my twin sister's house as we speak. I'm here on vacation and getting to meet my new little nephew who is 5 weeks old. He is a little doll. Ryan is doing well on his very first vacation and long road trip down here (9 hour drive). Ryan's crashed out in a long nap, and I'm going to show my sister some of Cathe's dvd's online.

Lori, so cool you got a night out! Haven't done that in so long myself, sounds like fun. Glad to hear Rylan is taking the bottle okay and totally know what you mean about how expensive those cans of formula are:(!!

Kristine, my little guy is a bundle of energy too and very talkative. He now rolls across the floor to get to his toys, and loves his exersaucer. He can sit for just a few seconds unsupported and gets stronger every day.

Well, going to do my best to get some walks in this week until I get home and can get back into some sort of workout routine! :)

Have a great week everyone!!

Stacey

Hi Mommies!!

It's been a while since I posted...glad to hear you and the little ones are all doing so well!! Olivia is doing wonderfully - she is such a fun baby, talking and laughing lots! I took some time off from exercising after hurting my knee. Not really sure how it happened but I think I squatted or lunged badly. I went to an orthopaedic surgeon and he said that the area behind my kneecap was inflamed. I've been on naproxen for 6 weeks and it seems to be getting better and I just started back working out this week:7

Sooo.....I hope to have workouts to report soon!

Take care!
Trish

Lori - Well, my goal was to breastfeed her for at least 6 months and I accomplished that. I guess it's a bonus now, it is so convienent and yes, formula sure is expensive. I used to pump in the morning and when feed her a bottle of the milk in the evening and I just got tired of pumping. Now we just give her a bottle of formula in the evenings and I am enjoying nursing her again so much more. She seems to gain weight, so that's good. I guess, I will just continue until I got enough of it or her ;-) . The longest though until she turns 1, so I guess we'll see.

Stacey - Glad you are feeling better. Relax and enjoy your vacation! We are thinking about getting Heidi an exersaucer as well. Just so many to choose from...

Trish - Nice to hear from you. Sorry about your knee but I am glad you are doing better and are getting back to exercising. Heidi is a such a happy baby as well, always makes me smile.
