i did 4ds his this a.m., and my top of my arm kept hitting my enormous boobs! never had THAT problem before!

have a good day, mommies!

Howdy!

LOL at your arm hitting your boobs. These bfing boobs are something! Great job on getting your workouts in! YAY for DH complementing you. I bet you are back to your old self! You didn't gain much!

I got my workout in today too! I got 10 mins on the elliptical then sara freaked out so I had to stop. Later she was asleep so I got 40 mins straight and some upper body weights in. I might brave a cathe tape over the weekend. Yikes!

trish, re the cathe tape: you can do it! pic your fave and just lisen to it for a bit. the music will make you ACHE to do it!:) or just buy a new one.....worked for me!;) i got ctx this week and its so nice to have something new!

feelin' like i dont want to make dinner. this is julias needy time and i dont feel like bustin' my hump on a friday night!:D

any fun weekend plans? nothing saturday for us, im hoping to do some errands BY MYSELF!:D sunday a.m. we have church and in the evening we have isabel's txgiving program. it isso cute!

see ya later!

Hi! I have fussy baby in arm.....

I saw O.B. 2day. He thinks i have a hernia. i will call to schedule u/s to check it out:(.

Hi to all. sorry so short.

Unfortunately, it's fixed with a surgery where the dr will push the intestine in and put a piece of mesh over the weakened part to give it support (so it won't protrude). There is still hope that it is not a hernia. We'll see!

Hi Ladies--I actually have a moment. I'm sure that I will hear little feet tromping down the stairs any minute.

Weight coming off slow--now I've got 22.5 lbs to lose.

Gwen is so plump, I've taken to calling her the turducken (a chicken wrapped in a duck wrapped in a turkey--fancy thanksgiving food for people with more disposable income than us)--anyway she's chubby.

I'm so busy I can't think, but next week is "light" for school. I did get roped into doing Thanksgiving for the family (I feel so guilty--they have nowhere else to go....:().

Kate--I had the cutest boobs before I had children--perky and sweet-totally passed the pencil test. Now they are huge  and when I lose all the weight and nurse less, they are just loose and floppy--thank goodness for good bra technology. CTX is fun.

Trish--how post partum are you? I've totally lost track of time around here. Just make the Cathe workout low impact and use a 4 inch step, but make sure your bleeding is down.

Jen--sorry about the hernia--is it pregnancy/child birth related? I'm sure it's easily fixed, but who has the time for any sort of medical procedure?

Hi everyone else--I will try, try, try to check in more often....

Maggie
(and guess who just got deposited in my lap?)

maggie!!!! good to see you! another chubby baby growing here!! how many are coming over on tg? you're a good woman!

julia slept frpm 10p-4a, and now she wont quit eating!im so happy to nurse her but it would be nice if dh could feed her sometimes. dont mention pumping - ive done it and i hate it! just a little while longer and the night feedings should be done.

wo today will be 4ds shoulders and some cardio.....and i get to do errands all by myself!!!!! i cant wait!

Jen - Ouch! Hope it's not as bad as it sounds.

Hi Maggie!

Trish - Is this your first time working out pp?

Kate - I hear you on the bfing and wanting a break sometime. I hate pumping also. I do it and then when Pomai eats only a little of it, it's like "all my hard work!" I guess if I wasn't so neurotic about sterilizing everything everytime, I might not hate it so much, but so much work to pump. Same with formula. I offer it to her and she doesn't eat much of it. She's a boob baby. At least she'll take the bottle sometimes and drink a little even if it is a little. What kind of pump do you have?

Gotta go...Pomai just pooped.

Lisa

lisa, i have the medela electric double pump in style. so, its a good one, but i just do not let down for it. how IS that baby? (other than poopy?!:p;))

i got to do some errands alone, got housework done and a workout (4ds lis step, shoulders, calves). a good day!!!

what are your tx'g plans?
thur we're going to my dads, an hour away.
friday - turkey at the inlaws, in town
i dont even like turkey that much, but pass me the stuffing, please!

Kate - I have the same pump. I have a hard time w/ letdown also, but what helps is watching tv or not thinking about pumping. I noticed the avent isis pump actually help me let down easier than the medela pis. Or pump on one side while feeding baby on the other.

Pomai is doing great. She is such an easygoing baby.

My BIL and family will be here from Cali from tomorrow through next week so we'll have a big thanksgiving. Going to my parents for lunch than dinner at home w/ everyone.

Lisa

lisa, glad pomai is so good for you! julia is most of the time!the last 2 night she slept frpm 10p-4a. hope all goes well w/ fam in town.

gina has a sore throat. she's bummed she cant hold julia, but understands.

gotta run......

workout is done - kickmax. Not the best KB ever, but it did the job. I think my cardio capacity is coming back stronger now. It feels so good to be consistent with workouts again!

Kate~great job on the workout! Kickboxking is a fav or mine.. I need to get a cathe one. I have the taebo series that I like to use and I have cathes hardcore extreme and there is some of her kickboxing on there. Fun fun! 10-4 is GREAT! Wow!

Lisa~that is hte pump I have as well. The pump n style. I don't have trouble letting donw for it because I Exclusivily pumped for my last 3 after a few months. Well with hunter is was from the first week or so since he didn't latch on well at all. I just pumped for 12 months so I became a pro at the pumping...lol Then my dd was from about 4 months till 8 months I pumped. I am hoping to avoid pumping this time so I haven't given a bottle yet just because I do'nt want Sara to prefer it over me. That happened with MAddie and Landon. Anyway, it's a great pump. I don't seem to have much trouble letting down though. I can just hear Sara cry or be holding her and if she nuzzles around some I let down.

Well great news! I ran 2 miles!! WOOT! I took Sara for a walk today for 3 miles and when I got home she was sleeping so I told DH I was going to try to run a mile and left her with him. Well I did the mile and got back and she was still okay so I did another mile. I ran them both without stopping, but I was slower than my old time of course. I am just stoked I can still run. AFter 3 months I wasn't sure I'd be able to do it without a walk break. There is a 5K here on post in 2 weeks so I am now considering running it since I can do 2 miles I am sure I can do 3 with a few more days running in before then.

trish, my favorite cathe kb is from 4ds - so fun! i have a couple tae bo's and i hate them. wish i liked them - they do get me sweaty but they just dont click w/ me. ^5 on the running! i always wish i liked it, but sadly that doesnt fly either....

.....trying to get julia to nap.....resistance is futile!!!!!:D

Trish - How is it having 4 kids? My DH is trying to convince me for one more. I don't know though. How old are your kids? I notice the more I pump, the easier it gets. I let down easily with baby, but not the pump. In fact, Pomai will pull away when I let down because it's too much all at once, but the pump is a different story. Good job on the running! I can't wait to get started.

Kate - I gave away my taebo tapes. My friend teaches an awesome kb class that I love, but I haven't gone in ages. I can't wait until Pomai sleeps those long stretches like Julia.

For any crafters, the Cricit Expressions is $199 on Black Friday Walmart. Soooo tempting. Did anyone here order STS? I know Maggie did. I'm thinking about it....

Gotta go. BIL and family coming in today from Cali.

Lisa

lisa, i *think* we'll go fpr #4.....maybe! i have the reg. cricut, but thats an awesome price on the newer one! ....live classes are so much fun. the energy of the class keeps you going longer. are bil and fam from a cold-weather state?

julia had a 4-hour nap today! it was wonderful! sure wish she'd nap now...:eek:

Kate - I'm in the same boat as you re: #4. How do u like your cricut? I have a big shot, but would loooove to have the cricut esp. since i've been mesmorized by the 2am informercials that are on while i'm feeding the baby. bil lives in california sp i guess not what is considered cold weathered, but it's cold there to me during the winter season!

lisa, I love my Cricut - use it all the time. I have 3 cartridges for it. I would love more, but $$$$! I haven't scrapped in sooo long - I am way overdue! I need to get working on Julia's book! Bad mommy! I promised myself I'd get all caught up before she came. Yeah, right! Like that happened! Maybe tomorrow I'll get my head back in it. And maybe a monkey will fly out of my butt! Workout and get thin again or scrapbook soemthing no one will see but me? uh,,,,,get skinny!
