i guess i will start this one off as i have a free minute with both hands on the computer - less type-o's that way!

hope everyone is doing well. shopaholic, mary, heather, and rachel - any of you guys getting more sleep these days? i am wondering when i can expect a bit more rest - i know i have a while. otherwise doing well here. i have gotten the bottle thing started well and my milk supply is fine. it is nice when dh gaives that 9 or 10pm bottle and i can sleep from 8:30 to 12 or so every once in a while. i cannot believe my guy is almost 4 weeks. i am taking 12 weeks off from work then will be returning parttime. it is quite overwhelming right now - the thought of work, daycare, real life. hopefully in 8 weeks i will be more ready?!? finn is growing like carzy and so darn cute - i adore him, sleeplessness and all.

my workouts are really fun right now. it is feeling good to have a tiny bit of time to myself, even when he is with me doing dvds. i am working out in the very early am only (between 4:30 and 5 after he eats). if i get 2 workouts in, it is b/c he is sleeping a bit longer. the running is the best though. fresh air, and it feels so good. my weight is coming off quickly, but with my appetite in overdirve, i wonder if i will be the only one to put on weight after pregnancy despite working out. oh well. at least my little one is here.

sun - imax2, cardio and weights step only and abs
mon - run 4.5 mil, 30min strength
tues - run 5 mil, abs
weds - kpc, muscle endurance upper body only
thurs - low max, boot camp cardio premix only
fri - run 5mil, abs
sat - run 5.5mil, legs and glutes

hope everyone is doing great, and i look forward to hearing that hopefully someone is sleeping more than 1 or 2 hours. finn still eats every 1.5-2.5 hours:)

Wow Morris, you are sure puttinig on the milage! I'm working on up to 6 miles for my 10K on the 29th. Pretty excited about it!

It was nice to read everyones post last weeek, although I wasn't able to post myself. ;) I too have felt like the 2005 clan has moved on. :(

Have a great week ladies! It's a hot one here in MN, it's been in the triple digits this weekend!!!

Melanie, don't leave us!
Morris, how do you have the energy to workout at 4:30 am? After Ashley's 5:30 feeding I go back to sleep. She is sleeping a little better. Lately she is fussy from about 6-10:00 and eats quite a bit during this time period. She sleeps til about 1:30 then awakes again at about 5.

She is really looking like a person now and has begun to smile. we went to my parent's house last week and they noticed how much she changed. They live 5 hours away. My workouts were lighter last week due to travel and being away from home.

Sun-SPJ-step/hi/lo premix +day 5 timesaver dvd(legs)
Mon-circuitmax+ basic step-upper add on
Tues-travel
Wed-tae bo ultimate bootcamp +power 90 3-4 cardio
Thurs-tae bo cardio live+ cardio party 2
Fri-cia 9801-hi/lo + solid gold (christi)-first half
Sat-travel

i am impressed you guys have such great workouts!!the sleep deprivation is kicking in so i dont know what workout i did on which days so i will just run off what i did. i also went to the orthopedic and they want me to have epidural shots in my neck and go to therapy for cervical traction. i herniated c5-c6 and have degenerative disc disease in cervical c2-c7. i am not able to place any weight on my neck and i still cant raise my arms over my head. i am starting to try over head press with no weight(can you imagine, before my herniation i could press 15lbs with no problem.)i injured the same area with my 1st ds and i was able to nurse myself back. i pray i can do it again.

run 1.5 miles w/ abs firm 5day abs
classic step heat/abs
stepblast
rytmic step/run 1.5 miles
lomax
something else i dont remeber ..but i did workout 6 days last week.

i will try bootcamp this week and see what happens

melanie, i second shopaholic. i remember reading your posts when i was just a few weeks pregnant and you were finishing up your maternity leave. your workouts were incredible - very motivating.

shopaholic, i am naturally a morning person. i cannot fall back asleep after a 4am feeding. but in the evening, i am useless. i could never do a night workout.

mary, you are doing great! does your disk hurt? i am sure you will get where you want to be, but i can certainly appreciate any frustration with how quicl;y it does or does not happen. perhaps the shots will help? how is andrew sleeping and eating?

Hey ladies!!
I'm officially on this side of the tracks now:) :)
Morris, it'll get better, it's not even 8 weeks yet, right?
Molly sleeps 4 hours between her feedings, but that's because she is formula fed and they tend to fill up because you know how much they're getting. Try pumping before bed and giving him a bottle and see if he sleeps longer. Just a suggestion;-)
Things here are great and lovin every minute. My exercise right now is running around with Hannah since I won't deprive her of my playfulness! I think I'll be ready for Cathe next week. I'm healing and feeling well;-)

Everybody keep up the good work.
And yes, thanks to these workouts the weight has been great and coming off on it's own.

they certainly don't tell you about the four hour thing when they discuss breast feeding versus formula;-) truthfully, the sleep isn't too bad yet as i am just 4 weeks into it. last night was great as he went 3.5 hrs from start of 1 meal to start of next. that is progress! curly, i am glad you can chase your other little one. i still am wondering how one does this with another child at home, but probably in the not too distant future i will find out i hope:)

shopaholic, how much rest are you getting now?
