Hi mommies!!!

How is everyone doing?

Heidi and I are doing great. A couple of days ago she really started to smile a lot throughout the day and she starts to cue a lot more. I also notice some different tones in her voice when she cries and cues. It is too funny and she is so cute!!!! ;)

At my Dr.'s appointment last week everything went well and I won't go back to see him again until next year.

Here are my workouts from last week:

Sun - off
Mon - 30 min treadmill walk
Tue - S&H Chest and Back
Wed - S&H Triceps and Biceps
Thu - 45 min treadmill walk
Fri - S&H Legs and Shoulders
Sat - off

The scale still won't move but oh well. I am just so ready to wear all my regular clothes I have, but it still will be a while :(.

Anyway, I hope that everybody is doing well and I am looking forward to hear from you
Kristine :)

Hi Kristine and all the other moms!:)

My week was rough but it had nothing to do with the little one. I caught the cold on Monday but it wasnt until Wed when I felt super sick. It wasn't the stomach flu but everything else. When DH came home from work on Wed I just sat and cried b/c I felt so miserable. It was just one of those things and I didn't know what to do with myself. I couldn't sleep...I didn't want to eat and I was really afraid that Rylan would catch it and if he did I knew he would end up in the hospital.
But now its Sun and I feel alot better! Now...if I could just get a full nights sleep:eek:

So my workouts were going pretty good last week until I got sick:

Mon: C&W
Tues: 30 min run and 1/2 of BM
Wed:SICK
Thurs: 40 min run
Fri: Never had time
Sat: 20 min interval run and BC
Sun: Imax Extreme and abs

This week I am going to start working with weights more. I have just been doing circuit workouts trying to get use to everything again but I think I am ready to start lifting again.
The scale was down again this week so I have lost 6.1 lbs in 2 weeks (13 lbs to go). I also tried my jeans on on Thursday and they fit! Now, I won't wear them yet b/c there is a beautiful roll and love handles to go along with it.;( I also tried on a couple of coats that were to small as well and I can get them done up this week:)

Rylan was good all week as usual. I can't complain at all. Im really not looking forward to his needle on the 2nd of MArch;(

Alright, I will check back later this week and see how everyone else is doing.
Lori:)

Hi all! Doing pretty well here - I am able to get in 3 workouts this week. And I am pleased to say I finally lost weight - 2 pounds which is a start! It's just going to take me awhile to get my body back and I shouldn't be too hard on myself. I was doing Cathe's low impact step - but stopped b/c my knees and joints are hurting when I do step. Not sure if this is down to being heavier/putting more stress on my knees etc or pregnancy hormones (because i read somewhere that it takes a year for your joints to recuperate). who knows. So, I started back doing kickboxing - love her Kickmax. I also tried out the Firm's Fat Burning workout b/c it's only 40 minutes. Should I start doing more weights? Will it help me to lose weight and tone up better than cardio? I've always been more cardio heavy but gotten quick results from weights.

It looks like everyone is doing well. Any babioes sleeping through the night yet? ;-) Lori - so glad you are feeling better! It doesn't sound like Rylan got sick like you did! He has vaccinations on the 2nd? My dd, Edie, should have her 2nd batch sometime near then - I bought baby tylenol in preparation for the first. Good luck with it!

Hi Everyone!
Lori, so sorry to hear you have been sick! My daughter has had a bad cold for over a week and little Ryan has caught a head cold and been sick for about 4 days now. Luckily, no fever and he is eating and sleeping well, so hopefully he'll get better soon. I hate watching the little ones go through being sick:(

I've been feeling pretty good and Ryan's starting to get some 3-4 hour blocks of sleep at night which has really helped. I was able to get 5 workouts in last week and have resumed my strength training and did my first ab/core workout today. Feels so good to be doing all of the workouts again. I had my 6 week postpartum check up last week and it went very well, found out I DONT have diastis recti!! That made my day, my separation is less than 1 inch. :)

Sounds like you all are getting some good workouts in too. I'm going to be doing postnatal dvd's for a while and then rotating in Cathe's Basic Step and my Elliptical also. Here's what I did last week:

Monday – Leisa Hart FitMama Postnatal (Cardio-20 min)
Tuesday – Cathe F. Basic Step (30min)
Wednesday – Rest Day
Thursday – Cardio and Strength training (30 min)
Friday – Leisa Hart FitMama Postnatal (Cardio & Yoga – 30min)
Saturday – Rest Day
Sunday – Cathe F. Basic Step (30min)

I hope you all have a good week, have good workouts and the scales start to move for all of us! I've dropped one more pound so it's progressing slowly but surely! Just have to be very patient. Enjoy your little sweeties, they are such a blessing for sure.
